Introducing a new series on our channel: MsMojo Can Fix It! 🔨We'll be analyzing TV characters you know and love, but had storylines and endings we didn't like - and proposing how we could fix it. Let us know what you think below, and also tell us which TV characters we should cover next!
Alex Karev. His exit was disapointing to say the least. Laurel Lance from Arrow. She never should have been killed in the first place. She desvered to live, get a new suit, get more training, and get the canary cry, and a reconcilation with Oliver.
That's a great idea! Some other TV characters I feel need a fix-it would be Marissa Cooper, Jake Jagielski, Quinn Fabray (post-season 3), and Serena van der Woodsen.
Ive always loved Lane and wished she had more success in her band. Didnt like the Lane Zack loveteam and prefer Lane & Dave together. I soooo totally buy your imagined storyline for Lane. 😻
Lane was always a favourite character growing up, I was disappointed in what the writers did to her and how her life was in "year in the life". Still living in Stars hollow and running Mrs Kim's. Really, that was teenage Lane's nightmare, love this new series and ending for Lane.❤🤩
Ugh, I was so upset with what they did to her. I felt like I could relate to her a lot with her creative adventures and not really fitting in. But then it all went downhill with zack and don't even get me started with a year in the life. Thank you for this. I will remember this story as how it 'really' happened :)
Loved it. You should do Nate Archibald from the OG Gossip Girl. Of all of the core 5, he's the only one who ended up alone, owning a newspaper, while thinking about possibly running for Mayor of NYC. Really it made no sense, because while Nate's family had political connections, he never showed any interest in what his family wanted for him. He wanted to strike out on his own without relying too heavily on his family money.
I get that Nate didn't have political inspiration to run for mayor. But I think his being single at the end is a good thing as he got to focus on himself and he was always in a relationship with the wrong woman or the woman had other reasons not to participate in the relationship.
@@atran071 That's my point. Nate was always flitting from relationship to relationship. His only real meaningful relationships were Blair and Vanessa. He didn't get the chance to really try with Serena, or even Jenny. It got to the point where even Dan characterized him as a slut. While, high school Nate didn't seem to mind being a little slutty at times, college Nate was desperately looking for love, and never got to find it.
@@MizzJolicious There is always someone telling him what to do for the future. For example, where to go to college (the Captain wanted Nate to go to Dartmouth and William wanted him to go to Yale) but he tried and got into Columbia by himself. Or when Nate begins working at The NY Spectator in season 5 and then later takes over. It was later revealed that William was behind starting the Spectator in the first place.
Can you re-do Rachael Berry's storyline from Glee where instead of getting everything she ever wanted, she actually gets expelled for being the downright evil witch she was?
absolutely love her she's so great being best friend and stands up for herself is so spot on being independent is a good thing love that she's so different she's just awesome
liked everything except her ending up with Dave. This probably a hot take but I'd like for her to end up with some who's also Asian (maybe not Korean but asian) It's just the AWWM trope is SOOOOOO overplayed. Maybe ya know branch out. Maybe even explore how other Asian cultures clash and how they overcome those. (I know! She can also do that with Dave but..still)
Since i know little to nothing about this series, i don't know how to upgrade it, but hey, it was still a great video. Happy tuesday morning, Emily. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well
I love the idea of fixing poorly written storylines. Some things i would rewrite are Danny and Vicky from full House not ending up together, Shawn and Angela’s blasphemous ending in girl meets world, and the horrible fifth and final after movie
While I like the idea, I was expecting more of a how to tweak the series to give Lane a better ending and I think one way to easily do that would be to not have Zack completely torpedo their chances with the band. I think things could have progressed steadily upward from there. Zack was a doofus to be sure, but this seemed way out of character for him. I'm not even suggesting that him and Lane needed to stay together, just that they actually get rewarded for all the work that was put in, especially Lane. It's like the writers were purposefully trying to punish Lane. Considering the fact that ASP's original ending for Gilmore Girls was to have her get pregnant right as she was graduating college, it actually kind of makes sense. Her original end for the series basically was to have Rory end up retracing her mother's steps by accidentally getting pregnant. With that in mind, having Lane basically become what her mother wanted for her (albeit slightly different since Zack wasn't Korean) checks out.
realistically .. not all small town girls with decent talent and big dreams make it the the big world most of them get crushed in the real world just like rory and lane
But also realistically, most people don't marry their high school boyfriend/girlfriend. Yet that happens way too often to teen characters. Same as way more people move away from their hometowns, at least for a few years, than happens on tv or in movies. It's a gut punch when the writers create yet another super smart, ambitious teen girl then hamstring her yet again with a teen marriage/pregnancy to keep them on a show. Because that's all girls are good for in tv land.
Lanes' story is about how you don't always get what you want, but you can be happy with what you have. Lane can also stand by her best friend, who is now pregnant and helps through it (probably some Korean herbal tea from mom). Honestly, your idea is so boring not only overdone, because you don’t always get what you want or have your childhood dreams come true, but them aside because you realize what actually is important.

Lane is a great start; such a great character essentially dropped with the new writers.
I will totally enjoy this video fanfic series. Bring. It. On!

Totally agree! And thanks for watching :)

an ending for Lane Kim i agree with! ❤

The writers define gave up on Nate’s storyline like season 2. I always feel so bad because there was so much potential

I definitely want to see what you’d do to fix Nate’s story
Now I'm upset that this isn't how Lane's story went. >.
Officially adopting as my head cannon 😅
It's such a better ending for her because like she said her window was so small

absolutely love her she's so great being best friend and stands up for herself is so spot on being independent is a good thing love that she's so different she's just awesome
Dave and Lane should have ended up together.
Amazing how💁🏼♀️people can’t tell🙆🏻♀️she was 30s playing a teen
If they brought her back, she’d probably STILL look 20!!! Should I hate her? LOL
Love this idea for a video. Please fix more things :)
Love that ending!!
Yes!!! Love this alternate ending so much. I would absolutely watch a whole spinoff show about Lane with this exact plot line. 👏💓
You could also fix Rory's story honestly

I love lane and Zack together they were really cute and I like lane more than rory

I miss this show so much!!!! 😭
Loved this!
Yay justice for Lane ❤❤❤
I wanted Jess and Laurie to end up together.
Love this! 😍
Please do this for Logan Echolls.
💔💜
Much. Better. Love it!
thats a much better ending for her!
So much better ❤
Totally agree 🤩💖
Do more MsMojo Can Fix It, please!🙏
Loved the plot. Lane deservesd better.
Love this ending!
Now get rid of April
I do like that she ends with Dave ... He was a much better fit for her. It all went wrong when he moved to The OC
😉😉😉😊

I like your rewrite. One suggestion is heip alien has a funny one hit wonder single. Other than that its perfect!
Can you do Bonnie Bennett’s storyline next?
Thank you!
I love it🎉🎉
Boffo! Except Lane gets on stage with St. Vincent one night;
And, they drive off into the sunset, in flying '57 Bel Air, convertible.
this would have made a cute back door pilot for a spin off for lane! way better than the jess one (even though I liked it lol)
The show was ruined when the creators left. They new ones messed up everything.

Hey! Maybe you can fix all the terrible episodes of SpongeBob next

and speaking of bands, please make a video about Korean indie band, The Rose. thank you! 💜💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜💜
Ho
I liked lanes storyline sometimes... I hated the kids storyline

Aw yes, staying home and popping out oodles of kids, that's "what's really important". Ok trad wife 🙄
