Dear Alicia. You are such a lovely, warm and deeply sweet woman. I am so glad you were chosen by your parents and that you benefited from a loving, nurturing home. And I'm so sorry your brother had such a hard time of it. You have become such a stellar human being! Our childhoods can be treacherous, as I well know.
My mother, baby sister and aunt were killed by a drunk driver when I was 7 and when my father remarried it was a terrible match and screaming, fighting, my father taking us out of the home after a fight, then making up with my stepmother and dragging us back... became the norm, and, sadly, neglect, poverty, and (moving at least 20 times in our young lives), abusiveness became our daily bread.
But we, first siblings, and then half siblings, 8 in all, survived and the damage was very evident in all our lives. Each one of us deeply traumatized.
So it brings me GREAT joy to see you with your own loving family, sharing the joy of your darling twin girls, and seeing what a truly WONDERFUL loving mother you are. It is just so heartwarming! Well done Alicia!!

A little tip for next time you paint inside your house put a tbsp of cheap vanilla extract in your paint. No fumes at all and doesn’t change colour of paint.

Thank you for the tour of your lovely home. Love that you enjoy passed down family heirlooms(furniture, treasures). I grew up with heirlooms in our family home and have my relatives around me in my home via furniture and treasures. What a find on the side of the road, the two lovely hanging lamps. Your Gigi's stained glass light is exquisite. I can relate to the tape(although I bought some at Target, double rolls for .99 cents). Can't remember where I put them though, not in the linen closet, so....maybe no tape to wrap presents tomorrow. Next year, may just use gift bags and tissue paper. @user-cx8ru6ls7k It never fails how well-prepared I think I am, but I always seem to run out of tape. Luckily, I always keep a tube of Crazy Glue around the house (the one with the brush), so I can always pull that out if the tape runs out (usually when I'm wrapping presents at midnight) - LOL!

Wow! I just found this gem of a video and I really appreciate you taking us on a tour because the girls always refer to certain things and we don't know where they're pointing to or what they're looking at and now we get the full scope. Your house is awesome it is creative it's multi-level and you and Walt have done a fabulous job with it. I love all your families heirlooms lile the grandfather clock and the beautiful currio case along with the stain glass amp that your grandmother made. I am late in comment in madneas the holidays I think is busy for many of us but it appears not as busy as you. How you got all those gifts wrapped I haven't a clue, you are amazing you're cleaning you're cook you do all the laundry you care for the girls, Beano and the cat and I just really hope you're getting enough sleep. Hi Alicia! Wow! thank you for inviting us into your beautiful home! I love it! It's so spacious and open! You're so sweet for sharing it with all of us! I love the china cabinet, I have my moms china, but they are sitting in my cupboard with all the other everyday plates and stuff. The clock and China came from the grandmother we visited with the long hallway (Gigi). The nativity scene came from my mom's mom (my Gram) and the stained glass fixture came from my Mommom (she married my dad's dad when Gigi and him got divorced). It's quite a confusing family tree😅 Both my parent's parent got divorced and remarried except for Gram, she never remarried. So I had a Gram, Grandpop and Mommom, a Poppop and Mommom, and a Nan and Bob😆 The only one still alive is Nan (Gigi) and she is the only one to meet the girls. 🩷🩷

Oh and I got the light bulbs at Walmart believe it or not😅 They had gold ones and silver ones!🩷🩷
