Hello sir ..plzz tell me after pterygium surgery eyeball can return in Normal form and white part can regenerate after cutting this part for graft.??
When i perform this surgery, i use the PERFECT technique in order to reduce the chance of recurrence and the best chance of a white eye. Healing time varies from patient to patient.
My pterygium was double sided and it was cosmetic surgery..it can cause eye smallness and droopy eyelids??
I am unable to give any specific medical advice on this forum. As always i suggest speaking to your current surgeon to get an understanding of your issues. I am not quite sure what you mean by eye smallness? Are you able to explain further?
Hello Sir do you not perform full pkp?
The simple answer is yes, the longer answer is only if its absolutely necessary. If it possible to perform a layered transplant over a full transplant, the benefit to the patient is exponential. Hope that helps and thank you for your question.
Is it possible to do multiple partial transplants instead of full pkp in different stages? Example endothelial wait for recovery and then a year later stroma if partial is faster recovery and can last longer?
@@spartacus0z Very good question.
You would have to ask why?
Here is what I would do….a very large stromal transplant to restore the structure and shape of the front of the eye.
THEN, after 2-3 years, a small full transplant to restore central optics and clarity.
Small transplants can last 50 years.
I am struggling to find a reason to do a full transplant over an endothelial transplant, but I am sure that there could be an indication.
My second question is that ...pterygium surgery can cause eye smaller and droopy eye?? And how much time it takes to return in Normal eye ..I have done my surgery 2 months ago but still red small droopy?? Plzz reply me sir I m very very upset my age is 26 ..
