Recently, the Central Government withdrew The DNA Technology (Use and Application) Regulation Bill 2019 from the Lok Sabha. After being introduced in the Lok Sabha in the year 2019, the bill was referred to the Parliamentary Standing Committee. After about 2 years the committee released its report. It has been said in the report that misuse of the bill is possible in many areas.
In other section, Prime Minister Modi has inaugurated the IECC i.e., International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre complex at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Here he also unveiled the G-20 Coins and G-20 Postage Stamp. This complex has been named 'Bharat Mandapam'. It has been created under the Self-reliant India and Vocal for Local campaign. This complex is one of the top convention complexes in the world.
