Quite an easy job , i just ordered 2 new Headlights for my 2007 colt as the old ones were not polishing up due to excessive UV damage all clouded and scratched up they were, a bit worrying that the bumper is held on by only a few clips lol wondered why my bumper has huge panel gaps probably knocked a clip out from the potholes in Sunningdale LOL 🤣
Really? Interesting. From the experience it's better to go with the new ones, than restore the old ones. Anyway, it would make sense for you after fitting the new headlights in, to restore the old ones on your own and sell them... 👍🙂
@@REBUILDLab Yeah but the lenses are really scratched up mate as I tried a diy clean using a scouring pad lol 😂 not the best idea 💡 metal and plastic don’t mix
Thx for the upload changed my headlights over just now thx you for the advice
Glad to hear that bob! You're welcome
Thanks bro I would of never known that there is another screw underneath 😅
No prob! Glad it helped!
i think i have same problem...theres no other way how to fix socket? Can u open lenses ? so i get to socket from inside?
if the socket can be changed - no idea. It woul be better to get a whole lamp drom a damaged car, polish and change it, really

@@REBUILDLab Cheers 🥂 fun fact is it works out the same to buy 2 new headlights than paying to clean them professionally lol 😂
