What I find most annoying and narcissistic about him, is how he sits there, and criticizes famous singers, puts them down, and tells his viewers what the famous singers "Should've done" and how they "Should've sung the song", then proceeds to sing their part off-key, and completely amateurish. Hey Ken, if you're so good and BETTER than all the famous singers you criticize, how come THEY'RE Famous and YOU'RE not? He's so arrogant.

Here’s a quick comment to help your channel. I‘m a classically trained musician, and very amateur self taught beginner guitarist. Even I could see immediately that he wasn‘t playing! His hands were in the wrong place! And at times looked as if he wasn’t even pressing on the strings. And as for his singing….mind if I don‘t comment? 😂 Might get you deleted and we don’t want that! Hope your channel continues to grow. And I’m sad for the people who have spent good money on his courses. Oh, and I‘ve subscribed as well.

Don’t know him but watch Fil on Wings of Pegasus do a very careful,calm analysis of his video a student/subsriber of Ken’s sent in when they became suspicious. Ken went to full blown WAR and tried to take Fils video down and began such over the top rages against Fil. Fil had to do more & deeper& further back analysis, till he discovered Ken was miming something he recorded 20 years ago! Fil had no malintent, just trying to uncover the truth. I guess a lot of other people were beginning to mock Ken at the same time,& complain about all the money they had wasted on his expensive voice lessons. My head is spinning from all the content out there now about all this. Thanks for a calm rational evaluation of the degree of craziness going on.will look forward to your next videos!

This is even worse with the tech channels. Everyone's self-identifies as a reviewer but it's basically just a home shopping network designed to make you consume as much as possible. There's a few channels that people do as hobbies without real sponsored content that are legitimate but I mean it's a needle and a haystack.

I think buying subs is fine with some channels. But Kens offering a learning opportunity and a service and hoping to get your cash in return. At this point buying subs becomes like the shill in the game of cups in the USA. Guy walks up who's in cahoots with the people running the game, wins big, then the people who witnessed the win get ripped off. I don't think Ken would rent a Lambo to impress. With so many big stars, Don Henley, Taylor Swift and others, miming to backing tracks and being easily spotted one wonders why Ken would do it on you tube. It is very clear when a vocal sound is accompanied by a closed mouth or histrionic guitar solo complete with random fingering at half speed that you are cheating. And cheating is always regarded as winning without being better.
Ken's behaviour ticks all of the DSM boxes for pathological narcissism. Compare his behavior to that other American "performer" that always has the biggest crowds.

It's absolutely true that negative engagement helps a channel although that doesn't mean it can't be useful in limited circumstances. Sometimes whatever gain they get from the engagement is less beneficial than the increased exposure of their wrongdoings or perception of being ratio is a negative... But yes it's a general good rule of thumb then If you start raging at a video you don't like you're actually helping them. In fact I've seen channels make videos that just intentionally spell something wrong simply to get people to rage on them in the comments to increase engagement!

TH-cam doesn’t allow falsely reporting another channel for copyright violation. He did that, and he claimed to be an officer of the court. He could lose his channel for the former, and face court for the latter.
TH-cam needs to do a better job of letting us filter this stuff. As it is now the disclosure form for having a paid advertisement is barely visible and often neglected to be used at all. We should be able to filter out paid content and for that matter AI content. But that's never going to happen unfortunately

Any youtuber's suddenly-successful videos (ie the ones that unexpectedly take off) should actually go beyond their subscriber count surely? Unless they are the kind of celebrity who gathers subscribers globally for fun. It doesn't look like Ken has many videos beyond a few thousand views - which in his case is probably around and about his genuine subscriber base, as he is just a niche business who probably doesn't need to be that much bigger than he already is. Personally I think all the ego stuff more than anything just makes him happy. It's like both a career and a hobby - his lifestyle as 'successful youtuber'. But whenever he says the word "successful" (which he seems to do all the time) it's started to remind me of Willy Lowman a bit in Death of a Salesman (he's transposed it on his son True too), and it's kind of making me feel a bit sad. I think this guy ultimately needs to really feel a significant amount of genuine success, but despite everything he has actually done he's never really managed that - despite of all the artifice in his self-management.
It's pointless to comment on his YT the comments get ghosted, and his ego is so fragile that he doesn't care if negatives boost his other socials, FB he deletes AND blocks. And you're right, this will catch up to him sooner or later. Other than that his YT and academy are all about his ego. Always has been. He's got money from other sources. This is all a game to him. The sub count that you see every other month going up by 10k is not unusual and right in line with the way TH-cam counts them when you are over a million subs. When you get to a million subs, it counts them in 10k increments, 100k subs it counts them in 1k increments, 10k by 100, 1k by 10 increments, etc... He's definitely not singing or playing in his videos though.
It’s still not an organic representation of channel growth. The same TH-camr who showed Tamplin’s graph showed Fil’s (Wings of Pegasus). Fil’s wasn’t even like Ken’s. There were peaks and valleys at different times, and none were evenly spaced, or showed the same amounts every other month.
@SuziQ. If he was getting around 700-800 increased subs a day, that would give the subscription profile shown. (That equates to about 10k subs every two weeks.) That's not a totally unbelievable rate of increase. There's objective evidence of KTs other fakery. This is guesswork based on a misreading of the subscription statistics.

Any youtuber's suddenly-successful videos (ie the ones that unexpectedly take off) should actually go beyond their subscriber count surely? Unless they are the kind of celebrity who gathers subscribers globally for fun. It doesn't look like Ken has many videos beyond a few thousand views - which in his case is probably around and about his genuine subscriber base, as he is just a niche business who probably doesn't need to be that much bigger than he already is.
Personally I think all the ego stuff more than anything just makes him happy. It's like both a career and a hobby - his lifestyle as 'successful youtuber'. But whenever he says the word "successful" (which he seems to do all the time) it's started to remind me of Willy Lowman a bit in Death of a Salesman (he's transposed it on his son True too), and it's kind of making me feel a bit sad. I think this guy ultimately needs to really feel a significant amount of genuine success, but despite everything he has actually done he's never really managed that - despite of all the artifice in his self-management.

It's pointless to comment on his YT the comments get ghosted, and his ego is so fragile that he doesn't care if negatives boost his other socials, FB he deletes AND blocks. And you're right, this will catch up to him sooner or later. Other than that his YT and academy are all about his ego. Always has been. He's got money from other sources. This is all a game to him. But people's voices aren't his personal playthings. Shame on him!

The sub count that you see every other month going up by 10k is not unusual and right in line with the way TH-cam counts them when you are over a million subs. When you get to a million subs, it counts them in 10k increments, 100k subs it counts them in 1k increments, 10k by 100, 1k by 10 increments, etc... He's definitely not singing or playing in his videos though.
It’s still not an organic representation of channel growth. The same TH-camr who showed Tamplin’s graph showed Fil’s (Wings of Pegasus). Fil’s wasn’t even like Ken’s. There were peaks and valleys at different times, and none were evenly spaced, or showed the same amounts every other month.
@@SuziQ. That is speculation though. You or I have no idea if the channel growth is organic. Most channels do indeed look like what I said before.
@SuziQ. If he was getting around 700-800 increased subs a day, that would give the subscription profile shown. (That equates to about 10k subs every two weeks.)
That's not a totally unbelievable rate of increase.
There's objective evidence of KTs other fakery. This is guesswork based on a misreading of the subscription statistics.

You brought up Ken being a Christian, as if that title by itself is impressive. People pretending a god is real is anything but impressive. Taking people's money for the god idea should be criminal. Poor people giving their last dollar for the Christian fantasy. I feel bad for folks with this thinking disorder because for most of them, the god idea was forced upon them, they didn't choose it.
Ken is an amazing singer and instructor- I think a lot of people are jealous of him. Nobody’s perfect- we’re all human and Ken is a great person who has contributed a lot of important things in music.
