The gushin moon imho is one of the more satisfying one to get and isn't TOO hard for the average player, I highly recommend people try this at least once, along with the frog skip.

New people: Basically at one point there was an extra trick required in Bowser's to get up the tall wall, using a finicky clip and some difficult out of bounds movement on moving invisible platforms. If daylight savings is removed from existence in 2023 as projected, will it be impossible to beat the WR in this category since the seed growth in Sand can't be manipulated? 🤔

It will probably never be lowered, because one of them (Cap Kingdom) is literally mandatory to trigger a mandatory cutscene to progress the game, the jump that would be required in Ruined is not even close to being possible in any universe (it would make the current hardest trickjumps look pathetic) and there is absolutely nothing in Ruined (or relating to Ruined) to use to even try to discover a new glitch or anything like that, and not enough moons are loaded to win without the jump. Finally, there is no way you could skip Bowser, because even if you somehow discover a way to skip past all the walls, there is no way to break the blocks at the end or trigger the ending cutscene without Bowser, both of which are completely mandatory. The only way I could see any of these being skipped is maybe with an ACE (Arbitrary Code Execution glitch), but those are the most difficult glitches to discover and by far the hardest to pull off, and I doubt there are any that are even possible to do in Super Mario Odyssey.
Plus ACE glitches practically don't exist in modern games because they are a byproduct of the limitations of older consoles (from my understanding) resulting in exploitable storage systems with bytes. You can do an ACE in 7-1 in SMB3 to skip the rest of worlds seven and eight, or you can do an ACE in Tennis for the NES to glitch SMB1 to unlock glitched levels similarly to the Minus World glitch but with way more possible levels (No, I'm not even joking).

I completed the 4 captures challenge run several days ago, and although I don't have Mario Odyssey 1.0.0, I still had fun doing every single CRC. I'm still crap at birdless mech though :/

The nut jumping glitch reminds me of the infinite flutter glitch in Super Mario Galaxy 2. I use it for the No power-ups run in that game.
