- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this cook with me type of video; we cook some meals for a BBQ and I share with you some really great summer staple recipes! I hope you try them soon; the ultimate baked beans recipe, kicked up corn, and OH GOODNESS a strawberry shortcake sheet pan bar! SO absolutely knock-your-socks-off delicious! 2 / 3 are six sisters recipes because I love them so much! Anyway - after we whip the food up we bring them to our family dinner, this time it's a BBQ! We even splurged for a slip and slide for the kids to enjoy and good golly miss molly is that thing a pain in the rear to put together / takedown! Do NOT recommend. haha But the kids did have fun that's for sure! We also had some very much needed quality family time! It was so nice seeing everyone! Then I come home and we clean / organize my fridge and linen closet! Whoop! I know super exciting! Thanks so much for hanging out with me! Hope it put a little happy in your day!

I've always loved "baked" beans. For a little extra " kick" I substitute Dijon mustard for the yellow. I put all kinds of beans, black eyed peas are a tasty add on.
