  • Yesterday I got to go see the Wizard come back through the Seattle Boat Locks after going down to Tacoma to pick up their Conex Container from Trident Seafoods yard. The Wizard went and picked up their refrigeration system for Salmon Tendering Season. l had a chance to go on this day trip yesterday, but I couldn't go because I had to do a mandatory training at work. But luckily, I had the opportunity to see them come back through the Boat Locks and dock at back at Fishermen's Terminal. One of my Friends Erik Rhyne got to go on this day trip which was really cool. He will have a TH-cam Video coming out within the next couple of days or so. I will have another video of some of the stories from yesterday and I will be posting it tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy this video of the Wizard coming through the Seattle Boat Locks and dock back at Fishermen's Terminal. Don't Forget to Dream Big.

I absolutely loved this video!! Seeing these mundane things they do while not on the Bearing sea is so interesting! Thankyou for this! Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I always love sharing what I get to see with the Deadliest Catch boats because not everyone can see this.

Wizard looks like it may have been a USN. YO which is an Oiler used in port for fuel transfer to small Navy vessels about eighty years ago. The hull was used for other similar Navy vessels like net tenders etc.

That is what it was. They did a special on it years ago on deadliest catch. It was YO-210. Converted to crab boat I think in the 70’s

@@WilleJamesHuff That is the story behind the Wizard. It was converted in 1978 to become a crab boat.

That is correct the Wizard used to be a fuel barge in World War 2 and was converted in 1978 to a crab boat.
