Thank you. You just saved me money. That mic on the cord is a no go. The whole reason I'm looking for the head set style mic is to get rid of keyboard sound and shirt sound
Ive been using the Aria SE for gaming then doing some EQ so the gunshots aren't unbearable in the shooty games. Stand-alone usb microphones have gotten so good in recent years that I normally just reccomend some of them plus a decent iem. Will still probably try the Wyvern Pro because of the price.
@@CammyFi by the way, do you think it's possible to disable like the microphone on the cable? the iem looks pretty decent but the problem of the sound artifacts because of the cable microphone is a killer for me
maybe for those who're using it on their phones minus the boom mic which is awkward when your walking in front of many people?... a boom mic sticking out can be awkward when in a crowd ^^ kinera gramr has only the boom mic but is much pricier...
Do you think this would be good in tracking footstep in FPS games? Im play apex legends with my current Salnotes Zero and its sometimes confusing where footsteps exactly are.
as i have many existing iem's and and is contemplating on getting a good iem cable with mic (or another gaming iem with mic)... also already got the cvj konoka options ** cable w mic: kinera gramr celest ruyi celest sky wing (newer and cheaper than ruyi and gramr) or gaming iem: trn mars kinera celest wyvern pro cheaper is better of course ^^
maybe will try first the cheaper option... sky wing ($ 17.38) cable paired with either what iem i'm using for gaming (kz zs10 pro x, kz castor (improved bass ver.) or cvj konoka)... my target initially was the ruyi ($ 26.16) or wyvern pro ($ 25.62)... prices as of today's convertion to us dollar... thanks for the info@@CammyFi
So a reddit post that says that they no issues and the inline mic stay muted during their test. I wonder what he did to produce the result. Got any alternative for cardioid mics?
There is nothing physically implemented for it to be able to mute the inline mic. Maybe they changed it. I doubt it. I did a thorough test of it anyhow, Pretty much most usb ones you can find on amazon will be usable and better than this mic. I don't can't give a specific recommendation as I haven't tested many budget microphones. However, just find some sound demos of any you find interesting online and see if you can find a spec sheet and a frequency response graph too.
This product has cable issue always. Microphone quality is very poor and right end ear cable no sound at all. To purchase it wisely, it may have a disaster for you. Not a pleasant shopping experience on the IEM earbuds + boom microphone. Bad!!
I’m not into gaming, but I’m interested in this because it can be used for talking on the phone while taking a walk. Another great video. Thanks.
u might look a lil goofy lol

the only good review I've found about this IEM, very good video brother, I'll suscribe
Thank you very much

Cable mic could be disabled by desoldering it or a non ideal solution is taping it over
I got one for 18 dollar's would you consider that a good deal?
yea
Why on earth does it have two mics? Surely rhe point of a modular cable is that you can remove the mic when you don't need it?
Because in their mind two is better than one, because two is one more than one.

@@CammyFi Now im thinking if its worth "upgrading" for it since my budget is kinda tight rn
uhm ackshully with a little bit of pad ware the dt990 is a perfectly capable vee shaped headphone with decent stage and imaging.
Hi Nouv, the pads of these ones are actual pancakes 💀
So you cant mute the another mic on the cable ?
You cannot no
@@CammyFi thanks
No problem
@@CammyFiis this better then tangzu wan er?
@kaye1689 They're about on par sound wise, the Wyvern is slightly more ergonomic, and the shell feels higher quality.
can you also review kinera's new celest sky wing iem cable with super cardioid mic?
as i have many existing iem's and and is contemplating on getting a good iem cable with mic (or another gaming iem with mic)... also already got the cvj konoka
options **
cable w mic:
kinera gramr
celest ruyi
celest sky wing (newer and cheaper than ruyi and gramr)
or gaming iem:
trn mars
kinera celest wyvern pro
cheaper is better of course ^^
I had a look at the sky wing it appears to be the same as the mic that comes with the Wyvern Pro

@jonathanbataller6285 you should watch my video on the konoka, it's less of a review and more of a comedy 😆
i have already... and your video confirmed what i have experienced on it ^^@@CammyFi
What is the quality of the mic itself like?
pretty cheap

This mic vs earpods 3.5mm mic?
Does the mic work better if you just put some tape to the second mic?
Probably
How about comparing it with Moondrop Chu II?
For today's day is this iems actually good for their price or i could've find something even better?
bro how to use the mic on pc? mine is no input devices found.
You need to use a combo jack, a USB C to 3.5mm TRRS dongle, or a dual TRS mic and headphone to single TRRS
@@CammyFi ok bro, already got it, it's called splitter, right?
@@KleinVanWilliam no, a splitter is to SPLIT the mic and jack input, exactly the opposite what you want in this situation
@@solidkeys actually the splitter has a lot of variation bro, I bought the 3.5mm jack female to dual male (mic and audio) splitter and it works.
@@KleinVanWilliam then it's not a splitter, its a combiner lol
for the same price, this or the CCA CRA?
This
@@CammyFi okay, thank you ❤️❤️
does this iem work well if i use a hyperx 7.1 soundcard?
Not sure sorry
