After living with this compared to the Zero2 and WanEr, I still prefer the WanEr for the vocal and treble treatment. But the Black's warmer tuning is still very pleasing for the price especially with hip hop and pop tracks, it has a little more bass and warmth. But the biggest drawback for me is the size & shape of the shell for sleeping and extended wear... even with better tips it felt fatiguing to wear all day compared to both the Zero2 and WanEr. (I had been using it for office work)
ive not bought it, but from what ive heard, if they upped there audio quality a lil bit, even for 40 or sm dollars, itd be a top contender. man the looks are stunning and not the best, but still pretty good audio for the price, and the whole package is just really good

A lot of people would agree that it's still just not that great of an IEM. The price isn't really going to make it a great deal unless it gets dirt cheap

I bought this set personally, 30$ well spent. The design, and the overall look and feel of the set is seriously good for the price.
I upgraded the cable and Tips, it's really a good set and so affordable pricing will put a smile on peoples faces .

Bought this. My 2nd iem. Right now I have a $3 kz edx lite. Without eq its unusable for me but wjth eq it's decent. Hoping this is better ootb.

I found the upper mids and treble to be very grainy on these. But for the price, you really can't complain.
Try eq upgrade cable tip rolling, I don't have your problem at all cheers.
