Love Michael I watch his show and The Majority Report and watch The Rising most days...love Krystal Ball. My problem with this discussion as with most...as a woman of color , I'm so tired of these discussions taking place about the marginalized in our society without representation from the marginalized communities being included in these discussions. I am tired of seeing white folks discuss the societal issues of "the othered" communities without us there to provide our perspective on what's happening to us.

I am with you Nancy, I am 63 supported Bernie last time and support him now. I have volunteered for him and sent him contributions. I think they should let more people know that Bernie does have some Boomer support even if small and some support from upper middle income even if small... I am a U.S. citizen in Argentina, and I'm amazed at the similarities in the political situation in both countries: they have both been the victims of neo-liberal economics(ChicagoBoys) and corporate/financial interests that have kept the working classes outside the mainstream since the 80's (Argentina since the 70's military dictatorship). The voters have responded by voting the anti-establishment, populist candidates: the conservative populist Trump, the Democratic Socialist Nestor and Cristina Kirchner. Now let's hope we can replace Trump with a FDRoosevelt populist like BERNIE. In Argentina they have recently voted for a return to a Socialist Democracy in Alberto Fernández and CRISTINA. Power to the people!

I left his rally, convinced that Bernie was the man for the times. I was a Bernie Bro from then on! Brothers & Sisters, now is the time. Bernie is the candidate. His policies are the ones that benefit all of the American People! the Rising is very weird to me. I dunno if it's deliberate but I feel it conflates right-wing and progressive policies. after the first 2019 debate they published a clip of enjeti saying, pretty much, I love what bernie and warren are saying but I wish they were tougher on immigration. The powers that be are watching Bernie, but up until now they haven't really gone after him because they have dismissed him as not much of a threat. They hope ignoring him will be enough. But if he starts to look like he could win, they will throw everything they can at him--just as they did with Corbyn. Remember what Obama said: If Bernie looks like he will win the nomination, he will step in to try to stop him. Why? Bernie is a good man. Exactly. Many of us Bernie supporters would do the same if Yang were leading. I'd argue we should help whichever one has the most support right now because otherwise they'll both lose. And Yang could even be given a position in Sanders' cabinet.

Tusli: Strong on foreign policy and good integrity, but not so hot on domestic issues. Yang: Sees the problem and put together solutions, but his solution need trouble shooting. As they stand, they would actually cause more harm than good, by widening the income gap between the lowest 10% of the population and everyone else. I did the math. He clearly didn't.

They understand that his policies would help the American people. They ignore him because they are scared of him, of how powerful he is.
Bernie gets 1000 times the amount of coverage compared with Bernie or Bust organizers. That's who the elites are afraid of.

The UBI (Universal Basic Income) is motivated by the right arguments but it only provides access to the system as it is structured. You get an income. You get a check and then you have to buy the childcare, the education, the healthcare, all these other things that you need. Those who have worked hard to manipulate the system in their favor have received many spoils from our current regime. They are fully aware what Bernie Sanders represents. We have to make sure the vote's don't get hacked.
That's why we have to show up in full Bernie gear at the voting polls. When it's documented that the long lines are overwhelmingly wearing Bernie regalia nationwide, they can't pretend it's a close race.

Great panel. I wonder why the Sanders campaign doesn’t raise some of the points and polls in the debates.
What gets to me the most about the wealthy(millionaires, billionaires, etc.) is that if greed, wealth injustice, and taxation injustice were to END tomorrow, they'd still have it better than the average person. They'd still be just fine!
So, what are they so afraid of?
I say to them - “Get over yourselves. It's time for America to move toward being a truly FAIR society.”
