Also heavy labor organizing across right-to-work states.

Agreed -- I think a lot of people heard Bernie say "Real change always comes from the bottom" and *still* thought he'd ride in and save us from 70 years of party corruption, unfair rules, and manufactured consent like some James Bond character.
There was an interview with Chomsky (or Hedges) noting that FDR wasn't super-awesome when the first got into office, and it took daily pressure from unions to get the results FDR gets credited for.

Decentralizing the downticket is one of the keys to power.

21:25 Third party politics has to be about building small and growing, not about running a third party for president and thinking you are going to win. Third party politics isn't even about capturing a majority, it is about capturing 10-15% of seats in any voting body, so that breaking any deadlock between major parties basically demands they do business with you.
Its the same strategy, in a sense, as that of getting enough justice democrats into the house that they become a meaningful voting block. If Pelosi/DNC can't pass bills without republicans or the justice dems, they can only drink from that republican well so much before their constituents start complaining and they become vulnerable to primary challenges. That leaves the justice dems as a group she/theDNC are forced to negotiate with.

You're so right but I doubt many in the 3rd party movt are thinking like you.
Ppl like Nick Brena and Jimmy are still thinking it's the presidency that solves everything

I'm not sure the racists will be happy with a black dude representing them.
That being said I'm currently trying to end my representative's political career. I sent him an email about the Yemen war and he came back with a snarky response so I'm trying to see if any media outlets will cover it.
Besides I'm prolly more productive to my community volunteering at a food bank etc while this disastrous pandemic and its disastrous economic impact is ravaging us.

Oh ya, the ruling class would just LOVE it if the working class broke away from the Democratic Party and began organizing as an independent political force in its own party. They tremble in fear when Justice Dems endorse their candidates, peddle blue no matter who, and toe the Dem Party line. Like, y'all can't be serious?
