  • Here’s a video on how to install the Ikea Sandvedel Roller blind. It also includes my review of the process and the roller blind.

    The Ikea Sandvedel Roller Blind was very easy to install. It was also a very quick roller blind to mount. I did not need too much things to hang the Ikea blinds. And I think it’s more worth it to do a DIY roller blind rather than paying someone else to do it. The Ikea Sandvedel Roller Blinds will really save you time and money.

    Hello Gabriel and many thanks for sharing the experience. 🙏🏼😁
    I am almost sold on these blinds and IKEA has you to thank.
    Sadly, the “Socialist” vibe I once associated with IKEA is gone.
    Sweden 🇸🇪 succumbed to dogmatic libertarian privatisation to the point of fascism where the economy is privately centralised.
    Despite global fascism, the blinds remain affordable. 😂

    Hi Gabe. Thanks for the video. What's that plastic that sticks out on the left side.? Why do we need it?

    • @gabeslifestuff
      @gabeslifestuff  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It helps make sure that there’s enough space between the blind itself and the ends, so that the blind will roll. Hope that makes sense.

    Hey, I just want to say it's not defective. Please take a look at the manual (online). You can pull it back out, roll it up a little bit, and then put it back in to the position where it should roll up. (sry for my bad english)

    Great video! I wanted to ask, is the fabric see-through at nighttime?

    I want to buy this roller blind but I read the total height of the blind is 195cm. But the place is I want to cover is much shorter. Is it not necesary to pull it all down to make it retract ? I got a question probably a silly one, cause I never have a roller blind before. Just want a confirmation before buying online 🙏

    • @gabeslifestuff
      @gabeslifestuff  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gary. That’s actually a very good question… and yes. You have to pull it down all the way to retract.

    • @utubechankawai
      @utubechankawai ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gabeslifestuff Hmm 🤔 but in the first 10 seconds of video, seems the blind you pulled to retract is around 100 cm long. And the full length of this blind is 195cm. So I don't need to pull it to full length 195cm to make it retract ? Perhaps, I didn't express my thought clearly 🙏
      Thanks for replying and helping ! Thanks Gabe !

    • @gabeslifestuff

      Hmmm? It’s possible that it might just be coiling back towards one of the ends of the roller. If this is the case, just pull it back down and sort of “guide” it back up so that it coils back straight, if that makes sense. Hope this helps
