Hubby said if he hadn't seen your video which I forwarded to him, he wouldn't have been able to follow the instructions IKEA had on their pamphlet. A great many thanks for sharing this. :)
I bought these yesterday, thank you for the tutorial :) finally a worthy to watch video and not like the other videos out where they just put a slideshow of pictures back to back
Don't think I be able to leave 4 inches apart from each ends because I don't have the space it's limited length wise can only put the fittings and screws on either ends but hopefully they go up and down good
Its spring loaded blinds so u do need to be careful when pulling blinds up and down really try taking the cover off and rolling blinds up slowly then pull back down slowly that's what I do when my blinds are not going back up hope that was helpful
HI, is the plastic piece that you use to pull the blind removable? I feel it ruins the aesthetic of the blind, and would like to know if it can be removed
the regular wood cord blinds suck, the cords sometimes get stuck, the mounting mechanism is weak, sometimes needs a lot of strength to pull up the blinds with the cord. One time at a house showing, I accidentally pulled down a set of blinds onto my head, because the homeowner didn't mount them correctly (or the mounting clip broke)
I can't get the plastic cover to fit on mine. It won't snap on, and when I keep trying to push it, it pushes in the latch on the L-hook and causes the blind to come off the latch and fall . Very frustrating!
Please check the following video to shorten the length/ customize. Found this from a fellow YT from Europe to use for my FYRTUR roller - the wireless motorized Roller of TRETUR from IKEA. Best video and great information I has ever watched even better he is talking without music
This is the first time I don't understand Ikea's instruction. Thank you for the video!
So glad you made this because way to light gets in for my liking!
Thank you 🙏🏽! 😊
very useful info, just did a set and this was very helpful, especially the caution about the screw in the locking mecanism !
great video to determine how to install this product
Thank you. This was very helpful. Exactly what I needed! :)
what is your wall made out of?
may i also know what the depth is of the actual top roller (to see if it fits in window frame).
Use 1 1/2 round head wood screws #6. Countersinking head is not sitting well on those brackets. And 2” is an overkill.
This was very helpful for us!! Thank you very much 🙏🙏
I’m glad I could be of help! 👍🏽😊

Hi thanks for the helpful vid. How many inches deep is the blind case? I looked on ikea website but didn’t see this measurement.
I bought these today , thank you for the tutorial i am so excited 😁
Yay! I’m glad I could be of help! You’ll definitely like them 👍🏽😊
Great video. Clean af instructions and narration.
Thank you 🙏🏽!
Can you order a wider width and install the blind to cover the entire window? I don't want any light leaking through the sides
I actually pulled down too much maybe ? But I couldn’t roll it up ! Do u know what should I do??

yes, on all these blinds the plastic piece comes separate and pops off
We were so confused with the screw thank you!!!!
Is there a way to tighten these so they stay where you want them?
Great video! Thanks!
I'm hoping these blinds once I put them up are actually black out blinds I soon find out when I stand outside with light on to test
What are the pros and cons of these, compared to the regular wood blinds that you adjust with a stick? (and pull up with a cord)
