    Thank you bro, found a few vids on this item but this was by far the most simple and efficient one. Didn't even need to open the paper manual.

    If you’re having the blind unrolling issue do this:
    1. Pull out the side with the spring.
    2. The cross like core where the bracket goes in, is what’s rolled and keeps the tension. Use a marker to mark one of the plastic teeth that go inside the blind tube and gently push the cross core in while holding the teeth letting easily the whole thing to unroll while you count how many times it does by watching the marker.
    3. Once the tension is off, just continue rolling (in the same direction it just unrolled) until tension is created again by the same amount of turns you counted in step 2. In my case it was between 4 and 5 times.
    Do not let go until you release the cross core first, so it locks in place. That’s it. Put it back in and test. Hope this helps. English is second and point 2 is a bit hard to explain.

    For the people who are wondering about the spring. I did exactly like this video and it worked for me too. Idk why it doesnt work for some people tho

    You missed a step, reloading the spring in the opposite direction. If you don't do that blind just drops as soon as you hang it

    • @ergobuilds

      I didn't do that and it worked for me. By the way, I do it when I roll up the blinds, so I'm not sure about your situation.

      Can you explain what you mean by "reloading" the spring? Cause i do have that problem of the roller blind dropping down...

    • @lulu8lala8haha

      I have the same issue😂 now my blind is always down. Can not fold it

    • @artjomeniko

      @@lulu8lala8haha the issue with this, as i figured out, is in the spring which is configured for one side. Thus, if you place the "adjuster stick" to the other side, it will always drop down, but if on the right (designed) side, it will hold the level. There's a way to reconfigure the spring, i saw some other video about it, but it's not an easy task and there's thus a high chance to spoil everything.

    Hi, Ergo, no need to use a hammer that will break the plastic clips as shown in your video, to separate the "roller" from the control bar, please use a flat driver to push into the gap between the control stick and the "roller". The two parts will be separated; you can keep the plastic parts intact which helps the axle rotation smoothly. It is a shame that I can not post pictures here.

    • @ergobuilds

      Thanks for the advice, Howard! I was a bit too hasty when detaching the clips.

  • @artjomeniko

    The problem i'm facing is that this adjuster stick is too loose - gravity is stronger than its resistance so the curtain auto-rolls down and doesn't stop on the chosen position. It's already the second time i'm facing this problem. Cannot really figure out what i'm doing wrong (and if i'm really doing something not right...).
    The left-hack i tried too... But neither works...

    • @artjomeniko

      Ok... thanx to @banackbread 's comment i figured out the problem - it was that i firstly put the stick on the right side so which resulted in that when i pull the stick up, the roller blind goes down and vice versa. But in reality it just dropped down by the gravitational pull. Then i did the "left-hack" and it neither helped with the problem. So i put the stick "back" to the right and everything started working. So the problem seems to be with the spring on the opposite side of the stick. @banackbread suggests to "reload" the spring. I didn't know how to do that, seemed like a bit hard task so i just left the stick on the right (instead of throwing the freakin' "rullgardin" out).

    • @ergobuilds

      "pull the stick up, the roller blind goes down" -> seems problem comes from here, the blind should go with the same direction as the stick, if you pull up the bind goes up, if you pull the stick down, the blind goes down.

    • @artjomeniko

      @@ergobuilds as i mentioned before, i tried the "left-hack" too, which makes it working the "right way - pull the stick up, the blind goes up. It didn't help. The blind was still in the "free fall mode". What only helped - moving the stick on the right side.

    The other option is , you fix it over the roof and just turn it

    thanks, Ergo, it looks simple to do; my only question is according to the video th-cam.com/video/6_qQ9K5bFqE/w-d-xo.html; the spring needs to rewind in a different direction, however, your film did not mention anything about this, is rewinding the spring can be ignored? thanks again for the confirmation

    • @ergobuilds

      No need to rewind the spring. Simply move it from left to right, and it works fine for me.

      Just installed the blinds and you absolutely have to rewind the spring otherwise it won't stay open but roll itself out completely.

      @@linkehand. strange to me, i did not rewind the spring, just move it from left to right, and it works well

      when i moved it from left to right, i had the blinds roll up completely and the control bar is in it is shortest position, not sure if this make any difference?

    First, figure out how the mechanism works before giving advice! Are you sure it will function correctly this way?

    • @iamlrv

      I have serious doubts that it's working correctly for you, that it locks in all positions, especially at the extremes, and that the spring is functioning properly. It’s a shame you didn’t show how it works in the video, as if you intentionally hid this flaw.
