  • This architecture movie takes a tour of A-CH's compact Keperra House, located in a post-war suburb of Brisbane, Australia.
Completed in 2013, the house was designed by Australian studio A-CH for a single occupant, and is positioned at the end of the garden of an existing property.
It is characterised by a central sheltered deck that separates the bedroom from the living spaces, and frames views of a Jacaranda tree and the main house "to celebrate the spirit of the place where it belongs."

Thank you all for the positive feedback, the making of this project would not have been possible without Angela Leonardi’s directing talent and Michael Alroe’s generosity to open up his house for us.

That is stellar filmmaking for such a beautiful minimalist and spacious house. From the actor(owner), the architect, the interior designer, the director, the producer, the scorer, the sound engineer and everyone else involved. I am in awe!

This house would be considered as a "big house" in Japan. I love the simplicity of the design. It's like my dream home. Cheers from Japan.

That tree is the real show stopper

Jack’s are beautiful trees, one of my favourite, however they come with a price :(. I’m torn between the beautiful branch structure and floral display, verses the myriad tiny leaves which go everywhere when dropping and the staining petals. Nothing comes for free, but still a magnificent tree.

I’d say the message was minimal design can create a wonderful liveable habitat for a peaceful life.

Fully agree with last comment ... stellar video....simply inspiring. Of course it’s not tutorial or ‘how to’ video but a visual delight that makes you dream. Great job!

The design is beautiful, but I just cannot focus because the music made I expect to see Space Odyssey 2001😂

Doesn't show enough of the design. Hard to see how the house hangs together or the size of the rooms. All we know is there is a big sliding door hiding a courtyard.

I have an idea how one side is, but his vague photography on the other side is a disappointment and I have no idea how it's fitted out (except that it it has a table with a turntable, a cupboard, a bed and a shower). But no way of seeing how it could all fit in that one side. Maybe it's a secret.

How about Googing the house and you find a plan - not that hard - probably quicker than a winge

Go look it up on ArchDaily. It's there, with more interior pics and the floor plan. Ta-Da!

Is this video a JOKE??? Its called 'Take A Tour of A-CH's Tiny House'
Yet all it shows us is views of kids on scooters, men cutting grass, and BUSHES!!!
Seriously...... SHOW US THE FUCKING HOUSE PLEASE!!!!

Beautiful, but left me with more questions than answers in kind of an annoying way.

Awful video presentation, a complete failure! There is no visual information about this home and the space for living. No sense of relation of the structure to the surroundings, no clear visual references of the choices of materials for its construction other than what we can see from the outside. The viewer is left with more unanswered questions than before we even heard of A-CH's Keperra House of Brisbane, Australia. What was the purpose for this video, is the prevailing question here.
