For the 3rd and last house hunters, the 1st house was my favourite, great price way below budget, move-in ready wouldn't need changing anything, numerous fruit trees as bonus.
Too much money to play with but wants to be part of the town...what as? Lord and lady of the manor??? Bad luck Alistair you tried but Im sure even you could see you were wasting your time...wish I had a fraction of the money I would just be happy to have my own roof over my head!!

For the 2nd house hunters, i would go with the 2nd house. Its more value for money at 220k with a huge garden and room for extension
