Welp. Maybe next year I can get an XP700... But realistically I'll just get another XG500. I feel like stereo sound with two XG500's would be better than one XP700 anyways.
@@LindonSlaght I do agree that stereo is important, but there isn't that much of a massive difference between the xb33 and the XG500, they're both still handheld portable speakers, so it makes sense that two xb33 will sound better. XP700 is a massive step up from XG500. For reference, I have jbl boombox 2 in stereo, which is a similar speaker to the XG500, and I think the XP700 sounds better. I'm not tryna convince u one way or the other, it's your money, but based on my honest experiences the XP700 will sound better. I would bet that the woofer surface area ratio of an xb33 to the xg500 is larger than xg500 to the XP700 if you want it in more technical terms. But sound is subjective so you could still like 2 XG500s more. You won't really know which one you'll like more until you try basically, but the XP700 will be more powerful than two XG500 at least
@@DolphinSMG Yeah for me I care less about power more about sound quality, which imo combined with the XB33's already exceptional sound, causes it to be better in stereo than a single XG500 unless you need a higher volume/longer battery life, which I rarely do, these days my XG500 is mostly a PC speaker.
Hey with the Boombox 2 firmware update could you do like a comparison versus old firmware versus new firmware update or something like that because I update my Boombox 2 but I haven't really used it really in it's old firmware update
@@GYMCADDY I was only suggesting the video because I saw someone else do a video on the previous firmware update for the Boombox 2 and then old firmware to notice a difference between the firmware update
So I really don't know what the Boombox 2 sounds like with old firmware and I'm not sure if new firmware made it a little louder I don't know that's why I want you to maybe try to do something like that a comparison if you can
