    Hi people talking about needing a green screen. All you need is a single color blanket or sheet to key out. It doesn't need to be a "greenscreen". Green is only used because its very vibrant and not found in skin tones so you will never accidentally key out ur face. If you have a blanket or towel that is one color you can achieve this.
    Sincerely, someone who went to film school

Companies like Cisco and huddle are the major players and most web cams are used for conference rooms and so on. Huddle cams are awesome but expensive Cisco well its Cisco. Maybe with covid and more remote work and learning there will be more options and affordable options coming soon.

    By far the best channel ive found to help...hate really saying newer streamer trying to grow(by no means ashamed) but feel like that statement comes off well needy but not only have many of these videos taught me good knowledgeable things but the more i watch the more my own creative juices start and thats just as valuable as any video content provided....provided feels wrong there but anyway...full disclosure i started out through twitchs mobile app broadcasting mobile games and actually started on youtube but still so small and ben a little vacated for sometime i rushed into a poor laptop trying to rush into a better looking stream without putting in any real research and you know that story ends on failure the laptop just had no chance even just try to stream my mobile through it.. and i forget if it was during this video or on the one currently playing on my smart tv but you were talking about being willing to fail and i at least with my experience have almost a greater feel of pride or something like that that is coming with every time i knock something off a check list and there still a big list to go but thanks to the channel i have a better feel for what i want moving forward and more importantly what i need...sorry for the life story my ocd built up from my smartv only marathon of watching this channel(my tv doesnt let me comment while watching)

    You could also use green poster board as a green screen. If your webcam is not facing a wall or you are not comfortable putting the poster board on your wall, you could also use pvc pipe to hold it up

    I started to actually use my Smartphone as a webcam in OBS and the quality is way better than my c922. I use an app called IP Cam (or you could use the NDI app as well) which streams the video to a local IP Adress which you can browser capture in SLOBS/OBS. the downside is that you'll need a really fast and stable WIFI connection to get a realtime stream, or you might have to consider lowering the "stream qualtiy" of the phone resulting in more MPEG-artifacts. But you could go down to 50% and still get an awesome image.

      Oh btw .. This kinda reminds me of that video of MissyMae pulling down her greenscreen to reveal her fake background hahaha. People sometimes don't realize how difficult it is to get lighting right for every stream, so this is def. a worthwhile trick!

    • @overdev1993
      @overdev1993 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      well with a video cutting program like davinci resolve, adobe premiere, sony vegas / movie studio, tmpgenc video mastering works (which supports x264 which almost none programs do, not even the expensive ones).
      make sure you record you videos with a high bitrate, high CRF or even lossless.
      cause you need to encode your video again after cutting the clips together. lossy material encoded again doesnt always look good.
