One thing I loved about Sean Cahill, the second his friend hesitated, he smelled blood and dismissed our heroes. this proves he’s just doing his job. Imagine how intense he is when things are personal
It's the slight movement of his head, the tiny flare of his nostrils, and the way he changes the tone of voice. It's a really subtle but fantastic bit of acting.
All 3 of their reactions are perfect for their character too. Litt goes "Yep" immediately leaves, Mike with the quick wit comment on the way out and Harvey telling you it's over.
@@burntsouffle hahaha ik right? This show is so overrated. Anyone who actually went through law school or there is someone close to them who is a lawyer will just laugh at how ridiculous this show is
I really liked it when Sean genuinely and innocently says , "Just prove to him you've got nothing to hide." Then the quiet rage on his face when he realizes the allegations are true. Shows he sincerely cares about doing the right thing. Also enjoy the head nod by Harvey to Sean, showing he does respect him. Excellent acting!
Cahill may be my favorite non-main cast lawyer on the show. His immediate reaction to Woodall's refusal proves he really does care about doing the right thing as a lawyer, even if it's his friend taking the hit.
@@jaybee5315 he didn't need a redemption arc, he was right all along. man that subtle change in expression on his face when he switches target is so satisfying! Sean Cahill and his actor are both amazing and we are so blessed to witness him and Harvey tag team in the future
That scene of Jessica walking across the office with her dead stare is such a badass move. They need to cast her in similar CEO/leadership roles because she def gives off that vibe.
The funny thing is he literally had nothing to hide in his bank accounts, Sean couldn't find anything there despite months of searching. If only he called the bluff, he'd have louis in handcuffs.
No, Woodall got backed into a corner and had no option. Either he “proves” he wasn’t colluding with Forstman and prosecutes Forstman, which would lead to Forstman outing him for being in his pocket. Or he doesn’t prosecute either for an obvious crime with a smoking gun and proves Forstman has him in his pocket by protecting him. Just another example of Harvey calling a bluff. He gave Cahill/Woodall the smoking gun because he knew if Woodall pulled the trigger he would have been hit by recoil Earlier on they figured out the money was hidden. That’s why Harvey knew they had to bluff him. Play the man, not the odds
The moment mike says 'I wouldn't be back here if it wasn't for him' and harvey instantly becomes filled with emotions is not because Louis brought Mike back it was because Harvey knew what Louis gave up to bring Mike back & keep Mike away from Forstman which was the love of his life Sheila. And that is something that Harvey respected the most.
2:06 Even Mike, Harvey and Louise. Knew the dog is off the leash and they better bounce. They definitely respect Cahill's skills and how straight he is and know he will tear Woodall a new one.
at around 2:17 when harvey nods at cahill then turns around, the next shot is harvey nodding again lol, Harvey is that cool he decided to do a 360 to nod at cahill twice
1:43 that’s about the quickest possible way to show you’re hiding something. Hesitate, dismiss accusation, then emphasize your own credibility/ authority. He’s already caught at this point but I guess maybe if he had confidently said “sure, I’ve got nothing to hide” he could’ve maybe bought himself some time to clean up his accounts or even flee the country 😂
There was only two things I watched on TV, Suits and Billions. Billions I’m still watching once the COVID BS is over and it starts recording again. I miss Suits I have to admit...
That’s why Harvey called his bluff. They knew the hard evidence was gone, so instead they went with circumstantial. Soon as Woodall refused to prosecute Forstman for obvious collusion, it was obvious. Money or not
I don't know what it is about this tv series but I just think it's flawless... The story telling The actors The way the characters mix with each other The music I mean for example look at the scene at the end 3 dudes talking in an office lobby and when Jessica walks past even if you dont know the story you know thay she's a big deal and one or more of them are in trouble, she didnt have any lines just floated past the glass like a shark looking at it's future prey
I mean, technically, if Louis hadnt taken the dirt deal, they wouldnt be able to use it as leverage to get Sean to turn on Woodall. So really, Louis kind of saved the day twice, just dont tell him that.
Question- later we find out that the money never went to Woodall's bank accounts. It went to his ex-wife, who nobody knew about. Why didn't Wodall just say, "Sure, I'll give you my bank account access." Should've been a little more confident.
I've met the actor who plays Cahill. Very nice guy, I actually met him on two separate occasions. I owned a retail store at The Grove and it printed custom cell phone cases, at the time this guy didn't have many known roles cause it was in 2014.
0:04 Gotta love the Family drama when the Nasty Uncle Sean says anything. Eric would be the Grandfather and now all the Nephews have to confront their big bad Uncle for everything that he did. I love that Grandpa Eric just has no clue and he drives a Subaru which is Hilarious. A bed full of money. Hahahahahahahahaha.
The three worst defenses you can try to someone with actual moral fiber. #1 - Ridicule #2 - Deflection #3 - Power play Every single one of them will make such a person even more suspicious, or angry.
After rewatching this scene, if you think about it, Woodall has the right to declining not showing his bank account. Right or wrong. But I can see showing it proves nothing to hide. I wouldn't either if I were in his position & authority.
Will Harvey be able to convince Jessica not to fire Louis after all this drama?
Well.. For those who watched the entire series, we all know what happens
yes
No

William sutter was a super dope example of when it gets personal for him.
Stand up guy ! He and Harvey actually became an excellent team with some tough cases especially getting Mike out of prison early.
He sure is a stand up guy. Honest.
If Sean Cahill's life had gone in the opposite direction, that guy would be lucky to be hauled out to an ambulance with a collapsed lung.
