  • Anet ET5X: How To Level The Bed And How To Do First Printing
I bought this printer almost one months ago and I never managed to level the hot bed or other way round - prevent the extruder nozzle from hitting hard the hot bed. I've been watching many videos and all the instructions, but it didn't help, but finally today it worked - so this is how I did it. Watch and see!

Thanks very much for this video! I bought this printer (unfortunately) and have been struggling with it off and on for over a year now. This seems to have done the trick. About the only thing I think I'll use this printer for is for the larger nozzle prints. Right now I have a 0.8mm nozzle on it printing at 0.5mm layer height for things that don't really matter, but are very large. You've helped me regain a lot of print time. Thanks again!

BTW I also regret buying this one. It looks so promising but the leveling is really bad and the leveling problems always come back :-(((

I had the same problems when I first tried my new machine. I was thinking that I would send it back. I tried for a week to get it to work correctly. I watched your video and it works very well. Thank you for your video it really helped a lot.

Hello Brother. I am ordering this printer through Amazon. Could you do more videos to give pointers on setting it up to avoid problems. Also how is the printing going now?

Sorry I haven't been printing much. Still a noob, but happy that I managed to finish leveling the hot bed ...

I have my printer for months now and I can print with it but when I do manual level one it goes to only one spot but when I push 1234 button it doesn’t do anything, the buttons reacted to my touch but the machine does not move to the corners. any idea what it could be?

Wow - crazy. This printer is really difficult to operate sometimes. I regret that I sold my old Tenlog and kept this one. I've had so many problems with it - especially regarding leveling and sorry ... no real specific solution for that. Did you also try automatic leveling?

@@allcheckout when it does it it goes to one spot only. Same thing with manual. I’ve done some decent prints but kinda Think the printer would be just a little bit better if I can calibrate it at all four corners. Anet has no customer support really I emailed them but no feedback,

@@schawn4925 Yes - support is terrible. I will never buy again an ANET. They sent me the link to an unmanaged forum and they promised me to send me a replacement sensor, but they never did. Horrible company. Have you tried a FW update?
