Omg! That just blows me away. I tried recreating one of your other drawings. I mean it turned out ok considering I havent used charcoal since school but its nothing like the original.

Amazing as always. Great explanation. Thank you so much. I do have a question. I seen your mostly use the Woodless charcoal. Is there any reason for switching to Gioconda ? And does the numbers on Gioconda 2 or 3 or 4 differ as Medium /soft?

I have a question. Can you tell me why many of the artists prefer charcoal over graphite while charcoal is tougher to deal with. Thank you
No graphite shine and faster to work with but it's not for everyone.

Just accept that it'll be different. There will be advantages and disadvantages.

I can’t seem to make my charcoal smooth on paper like you do. Do I need smooth paper?
No. Try charcoal powder with brushes, experiment with different blending tools. Use vine or willow charcoal...
