    Givi Airflow is such a big improvement over the turbulence-suffering standard, and the Leo Vince exhaust totally transforms the looks of the bike. Great post, thanks for posting.

      The Burgman makes a really good tourer as stock. I have had two of them. Obviously not as good as something like a BMW R1200RT or a Goldwing, but rather cheaper!

    I had a Givi Airflow on my second Burgman. Best screen you can get. Hands down. I wanted one for the Sym Maxsym 600 that replaced it, but unfortunately Givi don't do one that fits. One thing mentioned in the video that I did have for the Maxsym was a seat cushion, though not the one featured. It made a big difference to comfort on longer rides. Well worth having.

    Great video and great bike. My 400 is much the same. I'm currently upgrading the box and fitting the E135 this week. I've got most of the things you have excepting the cruise control as I rarely ride the motorways here in the UK.
    One thing I do have that I didn't see is a PowerHub2 Power Distribution Module. It controls the 12v power distribution for accessories. Things like the GPS and cameras are powered directly from the battery and the power is triggered by the ignition so there's no chance of battery drain when the bike engine isn't running.
    Keep up the good work. Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Mick! Thanks for feedback and enjoy your upgrades! I didn't follow power hub route, as Garmin harness is specific which I believe do not drain battery, and USB port have SAE connector which I keep disconnected all the time (I rarely use USB). For camera I used harness only once during long trip to alps, but it didn't drain battery badly overnight and I used to ride every day. Once I returned back I dismounted it. So yeah, if you use any accessories frequently, PowerHub is really good thing and worth installing.

    Hey buddy, do you know if any of your upgrades will also fit the Yamah 400? Would be nice!:) Cheers, and love your videos on touring...come to Canada, you would love the Rockie mountains here!:) Love the seat cover, front lights, and the LED lights on the trunk. Also the cruise control! Brilliant!...I think all of this can go on the Yamaha if I get that bike. It only has a single disk break in front, so a better unit would probably be a smart upgrade. The only other thing I might add to the front would be the GPS device...perhaps a battery one so it does not drain the bike? Can recharge it later...not sure. I like to see the controls!LOL

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Vicky! I'm pretty sure that some upgrades will fit Yamaha 400, though I don't know exact model you are looking for. But GPS, Denali D2 LED lights, Airhawk seat are universal, so highly likely they will fit most scooters. But better to double check dimensions of units on owners forum before buying. Screen, exhaust, cruise control are model-specific, but might be for Yamaha as well.

      @@Igizeh I have the Yamaha Majesty, which is VERY close to the Bergman..I really want to find those wind leg deflectors, and went to the Japanese site, but still cant find any...if you have a link, I will try that. I used the one below, but that just went to the main page...Thanks so much!! I am going to upgrade the clutch etc this winter. I never thought of a scooter here in Canada, as most drive big bikes, but I think I am going to love this bike. You do have to balance very differently! LOL And finding a tunnel bag will also help. I like the 400, as it is not too heavy. The other 650 models also have a belt, which demands taking the bike totally apart to repair. DO you have a link for that brand of cruise control? I can only find one that has a long arm that tends to hit the break leaver...not fond of the design, but like yours. More practica. It should not get in the way of the hand warmer wires etc. Hope you can visit Canada sometime. You would love the Rocky mountain passes for rides! Magnificant views...One thing for the hands is to get the wind deflectors with signal lights on them! They block the wind from your hands and help keep them warmer:) You will like that addition. And they are not expensive.

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vickikgibson9470 Hello! I'm not sure what exact Majesty you have, there were several across years, but here is example of wind deflector: japan.webike.net/products/23890055.html There are more models of leg deflectors on that site, so you can check it.
      Here is official manufacture of Cruise control that I have: brakeawayproducts.com/
      Hand wind deflectors will not fit my bike because Givi screen is too big and too good :) It's wide enough to remove wind from my hands and on other hand wind deflectors will hit the screen during steering
      Hope one day I'll ride through Canada, I've heard that you have nice roads there. Also it will be pleasure for you to visit our part of europe and ride Transfagarasan in Romania :) Cheers!

    You should change the headlight bulbs for LEDs... way way better and you can turn them into dual headlights :)

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Mitch! Nice to see you here 😉 I tried expensive LED bulbs with dual headlights conversion, but decided to revert to stock because of two reasons: it can cause a trouble during European trips because it's illegal and I don't like how full LED light up in hard weather conditions: heavy rain and fog. But stock halogen + Denali fork lights do great job. Lensed HID might do better job, but it's not fail proof which is concern during trips

      @@Igizeh hello you are correct they made it illegal in England because too many people was fitting incorrect bulbs and dazzling oncoming traffic you can only legally fit what was original to the bike or car at time of manufacturing so technically it can be an MOT failure and we need an MOT every year in England to prove the vehicle is road worthy and we need that so we can have insurance plus you are supposed to declare any modifications to the insurance company basically they could use it to invalidate your insurance and not pay out in the event of an accident....... The insurance company will still take your money and Rob you blind ...... What is the name of the weatherproof skirt you have fitted around the scooter

      @@raptorpome2577 hello Raptor! Yeah, you have strict rules in England regarding modifications. In our country you can do basically what you want, but anyway I don’t feel comfortable knowing that I’m blinding oncoming traffic with LED’s in my headlight. This skirt is Tucano Urbano Termoscud R159X, I have several videos about it on channel. Nice thing during cold weather, but unfortunately weak point is air chambers. If you can deal with periodic repairs / replacement of chambers, that’s good product

      Led bulbs are illegal and if you travel around Europe is possible to stop you just for this. My friend with a T-max was travelling from Athens to Berlin. They stopped him in Slovenia near Ljubljana on the highway. Friday evening. They gave him a penalty of 200€ and demand to replace the bulbs there, something not possible because he hadn't bulbs. They called road assistant-he payed 80€-moved the scooter in the city till Monday he went to Yamaha dealer and replaced the bulbs with a cost of 60€ After that, he went to the police station, they checked the lights and returned his passport.
      By the way what have you do with the rollers? As I see on the cockpit while you are driving looks rpm lower than stocks

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@antoniokns8400 Hello Antonio! Well, I was lucky and smart enough to revert headlights to stock before travelling Europe 🤞Now I feel fine with combination of stock halogen headlight + additional LED fog lights. Your friend got expensive lesson on this. Regarding rollers - I’ve tried several options from Dr Pulley, Malossi, but landed up with stock vario + 18gr round rollers + Dr Pulley HiT Clutch. IMHO it’s the best setup for this Burgman in terms performance / longevity / bulletproof / money

    Спасибо за отличное видео и за кота))
    У меня вопрос - заметно, что вы не считаете копейки и вместе с тем используете для путешествий 400куб, а не 650. Можно узнать - почему? Задумываюсь сейчас о бурге. 650ка привлекает динамикой и безкомпромисностью, но боюсь, что больший вес и габариты будут мешать в городе, где процентов на 70-80 и предполагается использование скутера.

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Добрый день! Я тоже стоял в своё время перед таким же выбором. Помимо разницы цены за новый скутер в ±30% между 400 и 650, у меня сыграли роль следующие пару факторов:
      1) Вес, как вы верно заметили. Сам я не сильный, потому мне важно было чтобы я сам смог катать байк по парковке и смог удержать его в междурядье как с женой, так и с женой и грузом. В этом плане я не прогадал и 400 прям под мой вес.
      2) Багажник! 62 литра под седлом, абсолютный рекордсмен среди всех скутеров. Это прям киллерфича, которую к сожалению пустили под нож в модели 2018 года :( Багажник + кофр = 109 литров убирает необходимость в боковых кофрах
      3) Расход топлива. Если в Молдове эта разница не существенна в деньгах, то в путешествиях на 6000 км через Европу экономия на бензине видна. На трассе при 90-100 км/ч с женой и полным багажом я выводил на 3.5 л / 100 км. Плюс бОльший бак даёт 350 км стабильно между заправками
      4) Наличие бОльшего числа афтемаркет аксессуаров на 400, чем на 650 - особенно критично в плане стекла и сцепления. Почему сцепление? В Кишинёве очень узкое междурядье, и если 400 и 650 почти одинаковые по габаритам, то по весу 650 будет тяжелее на пешеходной скорости держать и лавировать между зеркалами. Также с центробежным сцеплением мне кажется легче держать скутер на околонулевых скоростях, 650 не уверен что может стабильно держаться до 10 км/ч без рывков. Это может быть не проблема для городов где междурядье шире
      После 5+ лет владения могу добавить: по весу и габаритам угадал. Мощности под мой вес и жены тоже хватает (Я 70 + 55 жена). При скоростном лимите в городе 50+10 и на трассе 90+10 - мне хватает вполне. Единственное когда мне хотелось бы мощнее - это автобаны с лимитом в 130, но я на них попадаю 2-4 раза в год. Ради этого иметь бОльшую кубатуру не перекрывает с плюсами которые даёт 400 каждый день. Скутер едет вдвоём и быстрее (поднимал до 160 при обгонах при полной загрузке), но это уже на пределе возможностей.
      Но если бы я был крупнее и сильнее, скажем в районе 100 кг, то это была бы другая история и я бы наверное смотрел в сторону 650.
      90-100 в путешествиях - лучшая скорость чтобы успеть среагировать на неожиданности локальных европейских дорог (выезд трактора с поля / объезд ямы / дикое животное / внезапный разворот машины на заправку), так и успеть рассмотреть виды по которым едешь, а не телепортироваться из точки А в Б.
      Что не нравится в 400: обслуживать стальной ремень + шестеренки думаю проще, чем постоянно следить за простым ремнем и щеками, плюс мириться с тем что с износом деталей характеристики падают. Но по деньгам и то и то выходит примерно одинаково, если скутер покупается не на один сезон.
      400 подъедает масло при высоких оборотах / жарком климате. Особенно Мотюль. Может это решается другим маслом, но всё равно за уровнем надо периодически следить.
      Но по большому счёту в итоге что 400 что 650 будут радовать, оба скутера имеют просто громадное количество владельцев по всему миру и недостатка информации по ним нет.

      Hello there! As I see per fitment chart you need this one: brakeawayproducts.com/product/7cp05/

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  ปีที่แล้ว

      Little bit additional info. Looks like Breakaway slightly changed their products & marking. I was using 6CP02 as I remember, but now per chart it was replaced. It's strange that they don't have handlebar diameter in their chart, but for Burgman it's 22mm or 7/8”. So again per chart it should be 7CP02 or 7CP05. You may want to drop them a message or call to double check which one will suit better

    Где-то читал, что с этим ветровиком, даже не нужно ставить "ветровики" для рук, так как от стекла, поток воздуха, практичесски полностью уходит с рук. Правда?

    • @Igizeh
      @Igizeh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Да, ветровик очень хорошо отбивает поток ветра от рук. Но здесь и другой момент - если держать лопухи на руле, то при повороте руля они будут упираться в лопухи стекла. Потому либо стекло, либо лопухи на руле

I always keep my phone in the pocket and operate phone and music via buttons or voice assistant (Siri in my case). Newer versions of Packtalk should be better in terms of voice operations. I’m really satisfied with Cardo
