@@yuuhyakuya3863 Leo just couldn't find an opening to get out of there. Leonardo might've quicker, but he wasn't that much quicker. That and sneak attacks wouldn't have done much. The issue was Jason's durability. Leo just couldn't get through no matter what.

It's relevant to note that Mikey specialises in one of the most unwieldable weapons in popular culture, one that requires significantly more skill just to be borderline competent with than something like a sword does to be reasonably skilled with. And still manages to keep up with the other three despite that handicap. He's probably secretly the most skilled of the four in terms of weapon mastery, it's just impossible to notice because lol nunchucks.

Although I don't like the rangers more, give Jason a break. Yes, he did start the fight, but if you've fought green mutants multiple times, you wouldn't think twice before trying to kill it. Basically, Jason thought Leo was an evil mutant and acted fast before said mutant would harm anyone else.

Yea and both Jason and Tommy fought goldar with out their power ranger outfit on and goldar beat Tommy with no problem but Jason went toe to tie with goldar
It's actually under the feats @ 10:30 They simply didn't directly mentioned it. He's just the captain proving his strength when his team got pinned down. Jason's experience as a teacher gives him a lot of experience even with Tommy who didn't originate from Angel Grove was probably well known elsewhere.

For anyone who's wondering where Leo's feat of defeating Ra's Al Ghul came from, it's from the rather recent crossover movie of "Batman VS Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". The heroes in a half shell team up with Batman, Batgirl, and Robin(don't know which one is behind the mantle of this one but he looked rather young) to put a stop to the Foot Clan and League of Assassin's plans. The turtles swapped villains with Batman for the final battle of said movie with Leo going up against Ra's. Leo beat him by means of a combination of a low blow that would make Johnny Cage proud and the use of a technique that struck Ra's Al Ghul's pressure points to knock him out.
Leo was just minding his own business, about to eat a delicious pizza, when Jason bumped into him making him drop the pizza, Jason should’ve died for that

arguably this fight should have been nulled based on the fact that Jason excalated the fight by transforming immediately and would have lost the power or not have it respond because of it.

In almost all of human history fighting was a means of survival not honor and integrity if you've made to throwing fists honor and integrity is already put the window. If both people were honorable and habe integrity the fight would have never happened in the first place.

Syazwan Mustapah the problem is that leading the fight to a sewer or thinking of a plan isn’t a factor because they examine the fight as if they had no prep time no time to plan and no advantages either side can exploit. Giving Leonardo a sewer would be giving him an unfair advantage. Basically what I’m saying is that they do the battles like if they’re fighting in an open field to make it fair to both sides.

Take for example the Judge Dredd crossover "Judgement on Gotham." @@SirStanleytheStumbler the ability to warp around a tightly enclosed space with low to no lighting in places and poor footing, this would give the turtle a massive advantage. there are also a number of combo attack that need to real planning for him to pull of like causing an high voltage electric cable to his the sewage to fry the power ranger dealing a massive amount of damage (while simultaneously avoiding counter strikes as Leo holds his target in place with his warp and attack straggly) also many parts of the sewage system would release a corrosive fume when agitate by a large electric current, Leo being more resilient to toxic fumes would also have an advantage. So with all this damage even if Jason used his remaining strength to escape the battle would be over when his transformation switches back to his normal human form thanks to all that damage. But to be fair the fight was designed to give the transformer a win and the turtle a loss and is as always more about long term death battle strategic appeal then about actual fair fights (this is easier to see with reoccurring characters who have feats added or removed depending on who they are fighting and who death battle wants to win the fight)
So... If Leo wins, then that means we’ll have the first triple winner in DB history, and TMNT will officially have the best winning streak out of every franchise covered on this show. If Jason wins, Power Rangers losing streak ends. Whoever wins, it’ll be a landmark for Death Battle

Yeah, as much of a TMNT fan as I am... I pretty much knew before even watching this video that Leonardo would be outclassed. He is skillful, but the Morphing Ranger power is something beyond anything he's ever known or fought against. Krang's Dimension X didn't even have anything like it.

Yeah, I already could tell that Leo would not win that easy against Jason because Jason’s armors and techs. It’s kinda cheating and slightly mismatched. Ulysses Contreras either you smoke highly crack or you have ZERO idea how powerful the red ranger is let alone how powerful the power rangers are in general? It doesn’t matter how “experienced” Leo is the power grid and power morphs completely amplified any persons ability... a person who doesn’t even know how to fight can suddenly be a fighting prodigy because of the power grid. The power rangers also have taken out much more powerful beings than the TMNT and are much more durable and also have variety of different styles in combat... and not only that the TMNT probably doesn’t even have enough strength or power to damage or hurt through the power rangers power grid armor.

Jason technically has a cheat sheet. I wouldn't toss the ninja turtles out, cause they also fight against creatures like the Rangers on a day to day basis. FIghting someone like Leatherhead isn't easy.

Doesn't bring out a cool-ass fight, but is infinitely more in-character for the both of them! Power Rangers don't escalate fights (as mentioned) and Leonardo is the cool-headed leader of the Turtles.

this battle exist with a established two time solo winner, versus a three time series loser, meanwhile they gave leo two distinct power boost contradicting their own rules to make it interesting (mario vs sonic 2) while excluding what he needed to win (mario vs sonic 2), and using the if "yellow did this so can red" logic (Metal vs zero mario vs sonic 2 deedeede vs wario and many more). because leo has won and power rangers have lost, regardless of if i agree or not this was in the nicest way possible a pity episode meant to give the rangers (as much as i love them) a free win.

It's relevant to note that Mikey specialises in one of the most unwieldable weapons in popular culture, one that requires significantly more skill just to be borderline competent with than something like a sword does to be reasonably skilled with. It's actually under the feats @ 10:30 They simply didn't directly mentioned it. He's just the captain proving his strength when his team got pinned down. Jason's experience as a teacher gives him a lot of experience even with Tommy who didn't originate from Angel Grove was probably well known elsewhere.

For anyone who's wondering where Leo's feat of defeating Ra's Al Ghul came from, it's from the rather recent crossover movie of "Batman VS Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". The heroes in a half shell team up with Batman, Batgirl, and Robin(don't know which one is behind the mantle of this one but he looked rather young) to put a stop to the Foot Clan and League of Assassin's plans. The turtles swapped villains with Batman for the final battle of said movie with Leo going up against Ra's. Leo beat him by means of a combination of a low blow that would make Johnny Cage proud and the use of a technique that struck Ra's Al Ghul's pressure points to knock him out.

Even Batman's DB barely has him having a plan or strategy, Death Battle just straight make him go full frontal assault. That's not how Batman fights.
Syazwan Mustapah the problem is that leading the fight to a sewer or thinking of a plan isn’t a factor because they examine the fight as if they had no prep time no time to plan and no advantages either side can exploit. Giving Leonardo a sewer would be giving him an unfair advantage.
Basically what I’m saying is that they do the battles like if they’re fighting in an open field to make it fair to both sides.

@@SirStanleytheStumbler the ability to warp around a tightly enclosed space with low to no lighting in places and poor footing, this would give the turtle a massive advantage. there are also a number of combo attack that need to real planning for him to pull of like causing an high voltage electric cable to his the sewage to fry the power ranger dealing a massive amount of damage (while simultaneously avoiding counter strikes as Leo holds his target in place with his warp and attack straggly) also many parts of the sewage system would release a corrosive fume when agitate by a large electric current, Leo being more resilient to toxic fumes would also have an advantage.
So with all this damage even if Jason used his remaining strength to escape the battle would be over when his transformation switches back to his normal human form thanks to all that damage.
But to be fair the fight was designed to give the transformer a win and the turtle a loss and is as always more about long term death battle strategic appeal then about actual fair fights (this is easier to see with reoccurring characters who have feats added or removed depending on who they are fighting and who death battle wants to win the fight)

Ulysses Contreras either you smoke highly crack or you have ZERO idea how powerful the red ranger is let alone how powerful the power rangers are in general? It doesn’t matter how “experienced” Leo is the power grid and power morphs completely amplified any persons ability... a person who doesn’t even know how to fight can suddenly be a fighting prodigy because of the power grid. The power rangers also have taken out much more powerful beings than the TMNT and are much more durable and also have variety of different styles in combat... and not only that the TMNT probably doesn’t even have enough strength or power to damage or hurt through the power rangers power grid armor.

Look up “In Defense of Talk no Jutsu” on TH-cam. The closest thing Naruto’s gotten to The Power of Friendship is backup, which usually ends up getting wrecked anyway, leaving him to figure out a way to win the fight himself.

Jason: A power ranger who regularly fights creatures(don't take this negativitly) like the mutant ninja turtles on a day to day basis.

What about all the aliens, Ancient SuperNinjas, giant animal mutants that are on par, with the monsters Rita sends out, and interdimensional creatures, and all the robots that the ninja turtles go up against?
Jason technically has a cheat sheet. I wouldn't toss the ninja turtles out, cause they also fight against creatures like the Rangers on a day to day basis. FIghting someone like Leatherhead isn't easy.

this battle exist with a established two time solo winner, versus a three time series loser, meanwhile they gave leo two distinct power boost contradicting their own rules to make it interesting (mario vs sonic 2) while excluding what he needed to win (mario vs sonic 2), and using the if "yellow did this so can red" logic (Metal vs zero mario vs sonic 2 deedeede vs wario and many more). because leo has won and power rangers have lost, regardless of if i agree or not this was in the nicest way possible a pity episode meant to give the rangers (as much as i love them) a free win.
