    Nice! Thank you for the video. Having a longer handle for the tensioner sure helped. First time I tried with a short one before saw this to get it off and my hand slipped, and I landed on my butt. Drew a diagram before took off and that helped. Again, thank you much!

    I came back to say Thankyou I got tired of my mechanic giving me the run around an I don’t like people under my hood because they always focus on everything else but what they’re supposed to be doing.so I went at it myself and I’m amazed I was so determined to get it,and I mastered it.🎉 this is amazing I had so much planned to do an now I’ll be able to make it happen Thankyou so much🎉🎉🎉 felt good to tell him never mind I got it myself 😂

    Once you put the belt on the ac pulley , idle and alternater does belt straighten to the middle of the idle pulley once you turn engine on or you have to manually do it because i see old inprint of the belt like off by a little?

    • @AJSWoodworks
      @AJSWoodworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tried to straighten it as much as possible and had no issues

    Does the 4 cylinder come off the same way as the six cylinder or V6 or whatever you call it

    • @AJSWoodworks
      @AJSWoodworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not exactly the same, but yes, it is very similar.

    I left the tensioner for last when putting it back on. It seems easier

    How do i tighten the alternator belt?.. not replace it . My belt is loose

    • @AJSWoodworks
      @AJSWoodworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You tighten the belt by adjusting the tensioner pulley. It’s the pulley that’s spring loaded.

    What 2 size wrenches did you use to take off the belt on the tensioner?

    • @AJSWoodworks
      @AJSWoodworks  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      14 mm and 10 mm

    If I’m literally never gonna use this belt again… can I cut it off and skip the loosening of bolts, since I don’t have a 14mm wrench..?

    • @AJSWoodworks
      @AJSWoodworks  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You will need to loosen the tension to put the new one on, but you could cut the old one

    look, I literally just clicked the link to the v6 model and Amazon straight up ensured me that this doesn't fit my vehicle. I've checked multiple times that my input of, my vehicle, as per Amazon's parameters, and something's not adding up. What the hell am I supposed to do in this situation?

    • @AJSWoodworks
      @AJSWoodworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes Amazon is wrong. I’ve double checked the part number with autozone and it’s correct.
