Awesome..my brother's brother in law runs part of Abbott here in Illinois - might have to talk to him this Saturday to see if I can get a Libre 2 sent to me
Hey Kamil, Head's up if you didn't know. The new USA 14 day sensors do NOT work with Spike. (I found out the hard way!) They are saying US people should stay on the 10 day sensors until it can be determined if and when this can be worked out.
Good that it is sending lows and high alarms, pity it does not send values more often. Hope that by changing the limits one can get warning earlier.....
@@Nerdabetic Meanwhile all my blood values are fine again. My doctor was very surprised to see this. If this was the first bloodtest she would not have diagnosed me with DB2. Meanwhile I continue to loose weight, eat a lot less and do much more sports. I do not eat between 20:00 and 12:00 and my body is fine with it, seems like it can control my sugar levels itself again. In the morning it will rise after waking up to 6.4 then since to a steady 5.4 until 12:00. From 12:00 I use healthy cookies to correct when it goes below 5.4. 1 cm3 of cookie for each 0.1 under 5.4 measuring every 30 minutes. It is brilliant. In the evening eat some healthy stuff and I try not to eat anymore after 20:00. Everyday my weight goes down 100 grams and on my 30 km long bike ride 3 times a week I feel stronger and stronger. All the above was not possible without the Libre AND the information of youtube-channels like yours. Meanwhile, my doctor had never heard of the libre............
Great tech report as usual. Many thanks for all the work you put into these very informative videos. Can't wait for the Dexcom G6 to be available in Canada. I'm hanging on to my Animas Vibe with G4 until I can get the Tandem pump integrated with the Dexcom G6.
To be honest, everyone expected a real CGM with Librev2. Its like Abbot tried so hard to not be one. This "new" feature would be a thing 2y ago but now? Hopefully they change their mind and use the Bluetooth for real time Communication in the future, the hardware is already there.
Hi! I have a question about Libre. Did you swim with it? I'm kind of afraid to do so, not sure it wouldn't go bad after that. So if you did, how long did you swim? Thank you in advance for your reply.
I would like to ask you about FreeStyle Libre 2 (hereinafter - FL2) sensor usage/ scan limits. I found information on scanner, that after one day (I started to use FL2 yesterday) it was captured 20 percent of data (I made about maybe 30 scans). What does it mean? It means that if I will continue by scanning about 30 times a day, I will need to change Sensor after 5 days? Has FL2 Sensor limit of scan times? Thank you!
Any glucose meter that uses strips can jump in a lake! Accu chek mobile has the only one with a ribbon , and those greedy pricks should release their patent.
These technologies have been available in the U.S. for years! Why does it take so darn long to get new technology created in the diabetes community, but not in other industries? The Freestyle 2 is LAME when compared to the Dexcom. What’s the point? I can glance at my Apple Watch and see my glucose number displayed. Why waste money on the Freestyle at all? That’s R&D money that could have been put into other technologies! ~Antonio P.S. The best pump is the one WITHOUT tubing!!! The other brands are also wasting funds at the expense of developing better technology in the tubeless market.
As a T2 that is insulin dependent and very insulin resistive, I have to disagree with you on the need for tubeless innovation. As someone that goes through roughly 400 units of insulin every 2 days something like the Omnipod simply won't work for me. It is too small. Unfortunately, Tandem must agree with you since they have discontinued my tFlex 480u pump. Shortsighted at best considering that the number of T2 Diabetics is increasing and the demand for these units will only increase.
Awesome update again! So much is happening in the tech world. Yay for 2 new pumps in Canada! I'm releasing a video on these 2 pumps tomorrow :)

I watched it and loved it. 🤩 and thanks for my shoutout. 🙌🏻

LOVE the description of what the 670G does!
Thanks so much 😅😆
Can't wait till Freestyle Libre 2 gets to the UK!
SAME, so excited 😆
Freestyle Libre Link app now allows FL sensor to be scanned by iPhone! Im so excited!. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much 😁😀
if you get a iphone 7 or newer...6s won't scan it = complete bs!
Will Miao Miao still work with Libre 2? I want more than just alarms. I want to use spike.
We still don't know.
Thanks for doing these videos :) it really helps to get an overview of what's coming up 😊 keep up the good work! 💪
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed 😊😊
Hi,
Do we need to store freestyle sensors in refrigerator ?
I don't store them in a refrigerator so I guess it's not required

OMG, that is amazing. He can send me one too 😂🤣
Good news! Thanx for feport. Good luck in San Francisco 👍😁
Thanks so much 🙂😁
Any news yet on whether the bluetooth in the Libre will allow it to be linked to an Apple Watch or if the app will now work with older iPhones?
No news yet, we still not exactly sure what information is sent over Bluetooth. Stay tuned
I love all your videos. So informative. Great work dude😎👍
Thank you for doing this channel. Your information is very detailed and well informed. Please keep up the great work you are doing, we appreciate it.
Thank you so so much
Hi Kamil, did you know when the LibreApp will be available in Argentina? You cannot scan the sensors here with the App :(
Hi, sorry but don't know that yet 🙂
@@Nerdabetic Ok, thank you, let's hope it will be available soon here
👍👍👍👍
😆😁
I just now got the Libre 14 day for my son. I can't wait for gen 2 to make it to the US! When will it get here?!?
It is amazing. And Abbott hasn't talked about US launch yet, the only country that is currently announced is Germany
Hi! Do you have any idea when we can expect the 670g to become available in Germany? Thanks!
No updates at the moment.
Awesome update thanks
Thank you 😄
Do we need Miaomiao when using Libre2 ? To send the data to the phone application?
Hey, we still do not know
Awesome, thanks for the info!
My pleasure 🙌🏻😊

Hey. Big question of the day. Are 14 day sensors comparable with 10 day reader. My doctor seems to think so.
Hey. Unfortunately not. Readers are different. Please speak to Abbott and they will help

Yes, i did. It worked very well. and my average swim workout was about 30 min ( in the water). Hope this helps
è compatibile con pace maker? It is compatible with pace maker?

Why do you keep calling the Freestyle Libre a CGM. It is not a Continuous Glucose Monitor, it is a Flash Glucose Monitor (FGM).
Well from a clinical point of view, it is a CGM. Have a great day
