people can say whatever they want, but archetype will remain one of my favourite albums ever. Sure They're biggest hits they had with Dino... but the atmosphere "archetype" conveys is something that they have yet to achieve again... oh yeah and christian is gruesomly underrated! he may not be as fast as Dino, but I simply don't care...
@mlodylord666 - At this point in the band's career, they had "kicked" Dino out. Christian moved over onto Guitar and Byron from Strapping Young Lad took over on Bass. The song is actually about Dino, "The Infection has been removed." After Digimortal, the band fought about the direction it was headed, which Dino was a big part of. After he was out, they lost their contract on Roadrunner. This album was the first, post Dino era. Oddly enough, he's back but Christian & Raymond are out as of now.
@@jritty534well, you could see it now as a reverse meaning. The song was about axing Dino, and now it’s about Dino axing everyone else and restarting over.
It’s sad because the context of this song is also how the Abbott brothers and Phil Anselmo ended tragic and the fiasco of SEPULTURA that caused Max Cavalera to leave
Archetype and Transgression were solid Fear Factory albums, but the band was heading to a more radio friendly direction, I was happy when I heard Dino was back, his guitar and Bell's vocals are the essence of Fear Factory.
I'm glad to see you're still active👍 But I'm confused because this looks like the raw footage used in the actual music video with no cuts. There are numerous high-quality videos of archetype on TH-cam where there are cuts and use different footage in certain parts. Is this before it was finalized?
This video is the "raw" concert footage the band took for the actual Archetype video. This raw footage video was released on an Australian Import of CD Single for Cyberwaste. (It was filmed in Australia) I think it was also available on a Deluxe 2 Disc Import version of Archetype.
i get goose bumps too..also i didn't realize it was about DINO...that's kool to know...this song is amazing all there music is..the 1band since beginning and probably till end with me..regardless if they stop making music will always follow me on my journeys
@nineinchnailsrock Thanks for the info. I'll have to catch up. I lost interest after the commercialism of Digimortal and recently bought mechanize, which is insanely good and heavy. There's a big gap of albums for me to explore now;)
"The infection has been removed/The soul of this machine has improved." - I am not going to lie... I do not miss Dino here nor on Transgression and they are one of my favourites... If not the favourite. I still need to buy and listen to the newer stuff. Ironically enough... the infection is back and now Dino is all alone in FF... I am really curious what he will come up with in the next album. Burton leaving was the definite end for me of this band...
I could not agree more. Dino coming back, Christian and Raymond leaving. Then Dino Forcing even Burton out. Fear Factory is dead to me now. Wish Dino nothing but the best, but I won't even bother checking out anything he puts out. That being said, Fear Factory (The OG Line Up and Even without Dino on this Album) are my favorites. I saw them 15 times in concert.

The ending of this song cures blindness
One of the best final choruses ever

it's weird to see Dino perform this
@@jritty534 amen

Dino play this song occasionally so 🤷🏻 sad about the split but the new FF are doing great and Dino is amazing

Ahh.. this takes me back to 2004
H.P. Teguh Before the robot takeover

You mean "Cyberwaste" is a radio friendly song?
I think Burton sounded best during this era of Fear Factory
They need to play this album live.
Singing "open your eyes" with close eyes. Cool
he open finally haha
This video is also on Final Fight Streetwise and that's where I first found it :)

This song is on my mp3 player now and I crank it up whenever it plays in my car :)
Epic game final Figth
need the HQ audio of this cause it's a differnet version to add to the collection!
I guess the infection didn't TRULY die off and, in the end, killed the band. :(
That's the truth. Not even Burton is involved with him anymore.
I'm glad to see you're still active👍

Probably one of the best songs off that album.
This song is the least subtle metaphor I've ever heard. Cool tune though...
@dana44s
This, Slave Labor and Cyberwaste are the three I dig most off of this album.
Loved the channel's name.
Thank you
This ain't live its just the performance
i get goose bumps too..also i didn't realize it was about DINO...that's kool to know...this song is amazing all there music is..the 1band since beginning and probably till end with me..regardless if they stop making music will always follow me on my journeys

Damn, I miss Raymond and christian
But Christian plays guitar on this video ...........
Katarina Zamocka Yes but they were no longer in the band when RodneyBass74 wrote his comment.

I extract of game Final Fight Streetwise of X-box Classic...
Burt!
@nosajmunson If the lyrics are about Dino then that's pretty low: Dirty washing in public.
@nosajmunson agreed
burger of " Be band"
Is it me or are the guitars way too silent overall? Oo
I think most of the guitar on this album was subdued. The drums were at the forefront.
is not live
hehehehehe
the crowd couldnt be any more fake.why cant they get real fans in the video?who moves their arms like that?
Great song. Too bad this song live is ehhhh.
just only .....pop music
