Wow great fiery strength work plus I added 0.5kg ankle weights and squeezed a ball between both knees when I could in the core work holding my head up constantly. Also kept straight leg off the floor on the side planks💪😊this was definitely challenging. Loved the pigeon & quad stretches. Core work most favourite I think but love the donkey kicks & fire hydrants too🙏😊🥵🔥
That workout needs to come with a warning lol. I loved every minute of it. It was a fabulous workout combing two of my favourite ways to exercise strength training and Pilates. I found it challenging yet enjoyable. A great way to get my day started. Thank you for sharing.
I really liked this one! Although it seems like a 50 minute workout, it actually includes a warm-up and cool-down, as well as stretches in between parts of the workout. It's also not too intense and combines Pilates and some challenging exercises with weights (those squats and and shoulder presses really got me sweating). So if you want to build strength but combine it with something a little more gentle, you should definitely try this workout. Thank you for this wonderfully structured class! 💘💘💘

Youre literally the best pilates teacher out there! Really gets me going and makes me feel like i actually worked out and not just stretch with a little strenght sprinkled in between❤ not that thats wrong but if I personally wanna do a workout i wanna get my heart going a lil

Phew that was 🥵💪🔥 loved the leg work & actually managed 3kg in the donkey kicks and fire hydrant👍 kept head up on core work & used a soft ball where I could. Loved the intense quad and hip stretches and finished with a seated spinal twist - my favourite 😻 thank you Jacinta a great session to start my week in a hot humid UK!! Had a cold 🥶 shower after - bliss😊
Thank you for this super full body weighted workout Jacinta. It was nice to pick up some slightly heavier weights for a change. I always like your core exercises, so they were a ✔️ for me. My upper and lower body definitely feels like it's had a good workout 💪 today. Squats are my least favourite exercise as I have arthritis so my knees ache, creak and grate during squats. Love RDLs, the split stance squats are slightly easier for me to do than sumo or regular squats. The time flew by I definitely enjoyed the verity. 😊
Pleased to hear it Philippa. I understand the squats aren’t always a favourite. Perhaps you could try the Pilates thigh stretch or aka Nordic curls instead of squats to target quads. Great that you can do the RDL and b stance squats

I will get round to it but atm I’m full of Mother’s Day treats 😋🥰- 2 Booja Booja hazelnut truffles earlier then a small steak, half a glass of red wine with oven chips & peas plus I whisked up a fatless sponge (eggs, honey & wholemeal spelt flour) lots of lemon rind & juice poured over with homemade honey-sweetened damson jam filling topped with whipped organic cream for pudding🙄😋😊👍
