Another great review! Thank you for your honesty, as always! I agree for this case to be so expensive that the lack of the rear fan, quality of the fans included, need for additional controllers, etc. just leaves you wanting more from a case that should provide these things given the exorbitant price tag. Thanks for including better price point for performance options at the end as well.
Hello, will i be able to add more LL120s fans to this case without buying anything else? For example 3 more fans. Dont i need to buy separate controllers for them or i just buy fans and connect to the stock core xt controller? Will i be able to control all the rgb and speed on 6 fans with stock controller? Thanks
The screws to open the back panel is a hassle. Phanteks p400s from 2016 can open everything using fingers. The cable management, 2 boxes 2 cables for 1 fan only. Corsair is clutter. The case is too tall too much empty space inside. Icue is a bloatware huge install. $370 for a case, more expensive than a high end cpu.

Wow $400USD! 🤦♂🤦🤦♀🤯 I knew freight & logistics costs had risen but WTF! I agree to include ML fans and more of them included in this case, a controller hub and a price drop is a minimum for this case. Great review Nada and glad to hear your honesty in the feedback about this. Corsair make some amazing products, usually with a price premium, but not to this extent.
Thanks for the great review! I can confirm the fan control issues at the default settings (i9 12900k with h150i cooling), in a sense that they react too swiftly whenever you launch Chrome or just installing an app. I "solved" it by choosing the CPU socket temperature sensor of the motherboard in the iCUE for the h150i, as it represents a better "rolling" average of the temperature. Not sure if I did it right though, and it is definitely annoying that it does not work* out of the box with the fans bursting to the high speeds at the slightest interaction. *according to my UX expectations that is
I hope Corsair has fixed the issue with iCUE where it would randomly cause a hard shut down of your PC most likely due to the hardware monitoring software they used conflicting with the BIOS' built-in hardware monitoring.
I bought the case and moved my build from the 4000D to it because with my 360mm AIO in the front, my 3080 Ti FE card was heating up way too much. I was going to buy a 5000D and then saw this pop up on my TH-cam feed with several tech channels I watch building in it, and impulse bought it. My actual issue is the fans I have connected to the included commander pro turn on with red lights and don’t spin until iCUE kicks in when I turn it on. It’s happened twice. The ones connected to my H150i just turn on like normal. Also my motherboard only has one USB 3 connector, so two USB ports on front aren’t on. RIP lol
@@TheSjuris I more or less said “RIP” for comedic effect and because it’s likely me being a dumbass and connecting something improperly that caused it. lol That said the issue has only occurred once more and I have the case for over a week now. As stated before it usually resolves once iCUE starts up. Super weird. The AIO is also Corsair and doesn’t do that.
@@jermainemorales7875 I’ve seen it on startup. Has todo with the controller or something. Wouldn’t really be concerned since it only happens on startup.
Thanks for the review Nada. Personally I prefer the 570 case that I own, the glass made it more appealing to me. Although this case is not that bad, it needs more glass in my opinion.
Corsair marketing saying if you can afford this case you can afford another one of our 25$ rgb fans. Great video! Have this case myself and it totally is just for bragging rights

I have a Corsair case that's probably the grandfather of this one. I wonder if i can just fit new hardware in my old one. Yes, it won't have the latest USB ports in the front but I could live without them.
Hi, I love all of your videos, thank you for your amazing effort, if you don't mind asking, what is your main personal monitor that you are using right now, and again thanks for your great content and honesty in your reviews, wish you a wonderful evening.

Hoi.
I have one and it was an easy build but at this price point a lit Corsair logo instead of a hole to see your PSU, and a lit corsair logo on the front should have been included. The choice of fans on the front is also very odd. Match those fans corsair to the fans you supply with your 360 AIO series.
I have an ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme Threadripper motherboard, ASUS ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT TOP OC 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Card, and a ASUS ROG Thor 1200 80+ Platinum 1200W Fully Modular RGB Power Supply. I plan on using the side panel for the RX 6900xt radiator. Do you think it will work in this case?
Hello there if I use Deepcool LT720 Do I need to add a big controller of the cooler just to power the pump? what are the truly special extraordinary cases you recommend?
I just wanted to say that usually when you select what fan profile you want like silent for example, then you have to select what fans you want to apply them to. because you can have 6 different fan profiles for 6 different fans if you wanted. just a thought, great review though. As for value, I think its a great deal because the corsair commander and the fans are 190 dollars which brings the actual case itself down to around a 210 dollar value give or take taxes plus shipping.
This design reminds me a lot of the be quiet 802 case. The price point is way to steep imo. Edit: 4:45 and 5:50 we need to talk about that cable managment :P
I am ok with a case costing $400 but I agree: it needed to include a rear fan and all the wires should have been white. I want Elite if i'm paying that much,,, no sale I will go Phantek P600S matte white instead
but that rgb hub doesn't come with the 5000d and its not real cheap. but still the 5000d is a great case with lots of options. i guess with this 5000t you are paying for the rgb hub and 3 rgb fans and a more refined? looking case. it should not have cost quite this much and maybe it would be better then.
Great review! I agree. I think they missed the mark on this case. I think this is barely in the $200 range, more like $150. Despite the rear dust filter placement, it is a very nice case. I think they should had favored more USB C on the top panel. Even though there are still not many USB C devices, it would help justify the price.
It is 200 dollars. The extra 200 dollars is the 130 LL Fans and 70 for the commander pro. Things that people usually buy. Really not hard to understand why they charge this
Yes Nada, I agree, and I'm a big fan of Corsair! I tink a price of £225.00 instead of the £340.00 would have been acceptable. It's just not worth the money - even though I love it...! Sorry Corsair.
You have almost color match the case ^_^ About the case thou, not everybody cares about money much, there are done rich people that will buy that, and 2*3090, a 2000$ mother board, and watch Netflix or scrolling social. There are many products like that one on the list 2,3 years. Also, if you pay 400 for a car, you will buy 2*3 expensive fan set, just because. I m surprised that they include fans at all. It s like the Apple xdr display with the 1000$ stand, they do not include a basic one at all
Those black fan cables though 😂. Kind of ruins the asthetic if i'm honest on a supposed high end case built for looks. As you say they aren't even using the best fans or give you a rear fan. If they had paid attention to all the fine details it might of been worth it if you are in the market for a high end build case.
Can’t believe Corsair made a case with a PSU cutout that doesn’t align even with their own PSU. Did they not know how big PSUs are when they designed this?
So, I purchased a very nice Lian Li and IMO it looks just as nice as this case does. With more room for HDD, and I spent much less for the Lian Li that this one. I'm not sure it's worth the $$ that they're asking. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that it's not nice. It looks great. I just wouldn't spend the extra $$$ if I don't have to.
The way computers look these days, makes me laugh. I am surprised that they don't have computer fashion shows. I don't do any gaming, but I do watch TH-cam and Netflix at 1080 60 fps, so my $200 Lenovo ThinkCentre M58p computer is still suffice, even though it is a 2009 computer.
400€ case? And it does not come with all the fans? At 400€ I expect a lot more features from a case. There is no way that the production of the case comes any near its asking price. Why? Just why?
Watching tech reviews and the con being "the price" .. is never really a "con" as long as it does what it's supposed to better than the lower tier models, then the price is worth it
Yes and price is so subjective. The value of a $400 case that someone could use for a decade plus might be worth it to them if it checks all the boxes for them and they can afford it. Plus if you add up the cost of light strips, 3 LL 120 fans, commander core, and case you’re really not paying too much for the case itself. It’s also on sale currently at Newegg and Amazon. Amazon only has the black on sale for $364 usd, Newegg is $300 for both black and white.
