F-Zero X N64 X Cup master 60fps

- Best viewed in 60 fps (only available on HTML5 player). While I'm not particularly good at F-Zero X, it should still be noted that this game was made for an N64 joystick, and I find it harder to play on the emulator because I'm using an Xbox 360 controller joystick. I didn't care about the ranking in individual races as long as I came in first in the total score.

I love how sometimes the game will make a course that causes all the bots to fall off the track
Same. Too bad it happens so occasionally...
I used to love using the GameShark to up the max speed causing the entire field to go flying off the track. Rest of the race was boring but it was hilarious to watch them all go flying off.

This is the closest we could get to having a roguelike racing game.
The Rubber-banding AI. I always called them the "buddies" as they always ahead of us, yet will slow down on the finish line to let us be first.

Then I read that Blood Falcon and Black Shadow are not really his friends...
I've never made it to the X Cup, myself, since this game is extremely hard, and I still have to beat the Joker Cup on Expert Class, let alone beating everything on Master Class.

Hopefully they can make this game available for Nintendo Switch Nintendo 64 online like other games.

Black Shadow’s lore is that he’s Capt. Falcon’s nemesis, so it makes sense
Pain to unlock, but fun, despite the courses usually show in ovals and no loops. It is very epic when one certain tricky course shows up and most if not all the computers start falling off. I beat the game 100%.

One thing's for sure is that this game having a track generator is very, very cool, even if it's somewhat flawed.
I bet that there's only a small 0.1% of F-Zero X players who have actually conquered the whole game.
If nintendo does FZERO game again... the HAVE to bring this back!!! Or at least a course editor!

Am I the only one that felt x cup was much easier on master than the others? Maybe cuz its random and the AI dont race it as well? Also, the background you have, is that the last one you get? I cant remember if I ever had that one. I've beaten all the cups on master with most racers and the background I have is of the blue falcon at the press start screen.
I would definitely agree that the X cup is the easiest, and I would say, as you mentioned, that the AI isn't very good at some of the random stages. The background at the title screen is actually the one you would get with a new file. The second background is the comic one, while the one you have is the final one.
@@arronmunroe thanks for responding quickly. That makes sense. I figured it wasnt just me that could've thought that. That's why I always stayed away from x cup just cuz it is not as much of a challenge. This is such a beautiful game and the 60 fps is so pretty.
X Cup is easier in Master than the others. The AI doesn't always recognize the courses, so they can't always rubber-band properly.
The shortness of the races made this video kind of addictive lol.
Too bad youtube can't randomly-generate things and only has preset videos.
I wish GX had a X Cup like feature that was expanded even more, like Instead random tracks made, you pick the tracks you want, the order raced in, and the amount of tracks you want in a single cup
Tried to play this game many times again because of that damn nostalgia. But today I find the rubberbanding excessive.
I wish Megaman X and Zero should be bringing his hover cycle to race against the F-Zero Team.

This one is in the regular version of F-Zero X. The stages are randomly generated.
Oh ok. How do I unlock it?
You have to clear the Joker Cup on Expert Difficulty. I'm just referring to gamefaqs for that, but it sounds correct to me. It's been a very long time since I unlocked it.
Each time you win a gp on said difficulty, you gain an X after, so when you got 9 or 12 xs I guess that's when you'll unlock it
Well, to be perfectly honest, I suck at this game. I’ve only beaten all 4 cups on novice and standard difficulties. I’ve tried the Jack Cup a few times on expert, and the highest position I got on the first fricking track was 11th place or something. It feels like I just can’t do it.
