Hey, guys! In this video I'll show you Evolution of Kaa.
Kaa is the secondary antagonist of Disney's 1967 animated movie "The Jungle Book". He is an enormous snake with an equally large appetite-specifically for Mowgli the man cub. Kaa's most dangerous attributes are his hypnotic eyes, which he uses to manipulate unsuspecting prey and lure them into his jaws and coils.

In Kipling’s original stories Kaa is a friend of Mowgli who helps rescue him from the monkeys.
And essentially masterminds the plan to defeat the Dhole in "Red Dog". Seriously, Disney did him bad.

@@Amanecer458 Yes, but Disney was the first, almost. The only one before that was the 1942 production by the Korda brothers, originally from Hungary, where Kaa at least got a role in helping Mowgli against Shere Khan.

I was about 4 years old when I remember watching the 1994 version. For me the idea of a snake crawling out of the treasures horrified me enough. But once he started to harm Mowgli, that really did me in. Once I turned 7, that's when I learned that it was Kaa's job to guard the treasure
They don’t look like rabbit ears to me. They look more like scantly hair and Kaa was mixed with Randall Boggs from Monsters Inc.
I’m not a fan of Disney villains, but I’m hoping that after Chip and Dale defeated the valley gang and save all the toons, I bet they got both Kaa and Randall back to normal.

In Once upon a Studio, Kaa appears in the Disney Animation studio, when he sings "Trust in Me" to Clarabelle Cow while hypnotizing her, but is whacked offscreen by Rapunzel. He also appears in the group photo on the roof of the studio at the end of the short.

Am I the only one who hats Kaa in Disney's Jungle Book? Those eyes creep me out. I would have liked him more if he was more like the Kaa in the original book. He was more of a mentor who had a vast amount of knowledge due to living centuries and was a big help in saving Mowglie from the monkey. Mowglie would go to the snake when he needs advice and they like to wrestle together. And no creepy eyes, he simply dances to hypnotize the animals and humans are immune to it. I would have liked that Kaa better.
No, I really dislike what they did with him too. I mean, seriously, he concocted the plan to save the jungle in "Red Dog". That's a level of planning only matched by Hathi (who Disney _also_ ruined I might add).

I just heard the 1994 version of Trust In Me that was actually recorded for Jason Scott Lee's original live action movie. Never used or released. Just a cool demo tape that exists. Done by Blues Traveler, the same band who covered 'Secret Agent Man' for Ace Ventura When Nature Calls lol

It depends on the version. Kaa is a female in the 2016 Disney remake and the Andy serkis movies.
