Shere Khan in this film was by far the most scariest and dangerous villain in a live-action adaptation. He was willing to murder anyone that gets in his way and was willing to kill Mowgli’s loved ones as well in order to get to him.

This film however shows the reality of how a tiger and panther are rival predators that one of them could’ve sided in an instant.

True. They just didn’t expect that Shere Khan was that powerful and he was pushed off the deep end enough that he became nearly unstoppable, ferocious and bloodthirsty that he was willing to murder anyone that gets in his way of tearing Mowgli apart.
