Love your videos!! Thank you for putting these together! I would love more videos geared towards tweens/teens. I would also love videos about how to train children to see things that need to be done. For example, if my daughter bakes something and gets flour all over the floor how can I motivate her to clean it without nagging?

See the video about responsibility and adjust it to fit the circumstances. Make a rule, only bake if you clean up when you are done. Then be consistent!

Some advise once-a-week cartoon/movie sessions only. Would you say it's an exaggeration?

No. Totally ok. My point is of too much. I won’t complain about too little. 😂😊

We had the choice of either 30min of playing on the computer (per kid, and we got to watch each other play) or watching one movie per day. We also had two screen free days per week. This was before smartphones. Now I'm a grown-up with a smartphone, just as addicted to it as those that grew up with no boundaries, except I have positive memories without screens to look back on. Any advice for grown-ups on training themselves?

For context, it's past 2am now, in my time zone and I meant to go to bed at least two hours ago, but got stuck in a TH-cam rabbit hole and ended up here. I'm going to go sleep now, but this happens more often than I would like.

Good comments! Advice…Discipline yourself and get involved in a hobby and activities that do not include screens.

@@MommyAnswerLady I've got a lot of hobbies (reading, sewing, gardening, knitting, crocheting, guitar, singing...) but how do I discipline myself? How do I not only set myself rules and boundaries, but also ensure that I keep them?

It’s a choice. You have the power to make changes. Make good choices = have good outcome. The only other thing would be to get a friend to be an accountability partner.

@@MommyAnswerLady Thanks. I know it's that simple. It's just not easy sometimes. I'll try to keep that in mind more though.
