    I love how you confidently teach even preverbal children… we often forget how much they can learn when very very young.

    Just what I needed to watch and hear. My 4 yr old grandson is a tantrum thrower because of his grandparents that he lives with. With his parents. His parents try hard to help him mind but the grandparents there undo most of it. Ten when my hubby and I get him it's very hard to get him focused on just being happy playing here with the toys we have tgat he hasn't had for awhile. He literally throws toys and breaks things. I have done time ots and swats a few times take. Tge toys away and explained why . Not much seems to work so I thought a sticker chart might . But I see where your coming from . It probably won't work for him . He has been tested for every know mental and learning disorder tgere is . He tests negative. What else can I do. I did hear about just wrapping him on .y arms and holding him until he quiets down and speaking softly whole doing so. I have not tried that yet. Ideas please?

    How do I get my three year old to respect others things. He constantly knocks over what other kids have built or are playing with! No matter how many times we have said to not do this and to respect people’s things but he doesn’t listen

      What have you done as a consequence to this behavior?

      I have been working on another project and will be for a few more months. But I am very encouraged to know that you noticed that I stopped making videos for the time being.
      Is there a video particularly you would like to see made?

      well my son is very willful. He's a year and a half. When i tell him to do one thing he does the opposite and he'll fight to the bitter end for it. Any suggestions on how to handle it? @@MommyAnswerLady

    • @MommyAnswerLady
      @MommyAnswerLady  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@annasimons389 There are many suggestions on this channel to handle this. But it is an overall problem with him not believing the three things every child needs to know, and he does not believe you are in charge. That needs to change.
      To learn how would take more than a reply to a comment on YT. Please go to my website www.mommyanswerlady.com and get my book, ebook or audiobook of "How to Train Your Child to Behave". That's what you need.

      @@annabel952 Spankings are not the answer to all misbehaviors. Spankings should be rare if all else is as it should be.
