    Realistically the Jedi wouldn’t have stayed away from the Republic considering just how vast it was, and it was reaching every corner of the Galaxy, which brought up the question if the Jedi should merge with the Republic to better aid the people of the galaxy, even without the Sith Wars raging on.

    I'd like to see more stories about the individual Jedi/Sith throughout this era, the overall lore is nice, but it was always the personal struggles, victories and defeats that keep me interested in StarWars.

    I am enjoying the series so far. And while I can't wait for the next part of it, I'm also cautionsly optomistic, as the next part should be focusing on the Jedi during their time as part of the Republic, maybe even getting all the way to the Prequel stories and the Clone Wars, not sure if your going to split that stuff up or not I can't read your mind, and in recent times you've been very critical of the Republic and the Jedi Orders affiliation with it, so I should be on guard and ready to defend them, as I make it no secret I'm a firm supporter of the Galactic Republic and the Jedis affiliation with it, despite the many flaws. In which case I better get my platoon of 36 Clone Troopers, which I only know is how many Clones are in a platoon because of your great videos thank you for that, ready for the defense.

    Had multiple states existed within the galaxy like Europe during the late 19th century, will the Jedi Order have their own territory similar to the Teutonic Order used to rule over Prussia and Livonia to function but wit htheir territory functioned somewhat more like Switzerland? You know, as this place where all nations in the galaxy must preserved its neutrality. And in turn, it can be a place where they can come and discuss what needed to be done to maintain peace and balance in the galaxy.

    It's kinda funny that for how bumbling and incompetent the Republic was, the Sith only managed to defeat it a handful of times and even then not for very long.
    Would you do a video theorycrafting how the Clone Wars would've ended had Palpatine been eliminated prematurely. The Zillo Beast could've eaten him or he could've slipped on some soap in the shower and that would've been it.

    I had a dream Disney released a KOTOR movie trailer. It had a scene of Keanu Reeves as Revan hugging Bastila Shan. And then a scene of Revan in a cave, some other weird scenes. It looked so real, I thought this wasn't a dream, but cinematography was cheap and backgrounds were claustrophobic like they shoot everything in the Volume today. I woke up and looked up Revan on TH-cam to see if Disney started massacring his story 😂

      If I understand the term of the sale to Disney anything considered Legend still in a way belong to Lucas, so if they use it they have to give him a % of it. Thus why they tried so hard to make new characters which for Disney in almost every case flop big time. This I believe is why they were so desperate to have Rey and the other characters fly off, so they could keep everything in their bank account

    It's easy to be critical of the decisions made by the Jedi, and there are definitely legitimate criticisms to be made. However, I don't believe it was wrong for them to join the Republic. The main issues seem to be twofold.
    1. The Jedi became more focused on governing, rather than the issues facing everyday citizens.
    2. The unwillingness of the Jedi to be publicly critical of anything the Republic did, or did not do.
    I think if the Jedi had remained more connected to the people, and had put more public pressure on the Republic regarding the care of average citizens, it would have been more difficult for Sidious to undermine them. There are other issues, of course, but these are two of the most important, imo.

    • @zexalbrony4799
      @zexalbrony4799 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Agreed. I think the Jedi joining with the Republic was the correct move to make, espcially after the New Sith Wars ended, as it allowed the Galaxy to rapidly recover and rebuild. Sure the Republic has problems, a lot of problems, but it did a decent job of running the Galaxy considering it stood for 25000 years and if the Jedi had taken a more active role like you said in trying to improve things it could have been something really great. The Jedi and Republic do work well together, as seen by how peaceful and good things were for many years following the Russan Reformations at the end of the New Sith Wars. And even during the time of the Clone Wars there were still great instances of Jedi and Republic forces(Clones and others) doing some real good, like when they saved the Togruta people from the Zygerrians.

    I think the Jedi were always going to be warriors, because martial arts was a part of their lifestyle, as is the case with any monastic order to an extent. Look at the Shaolin, Yamabushi, Sohei, Wing Chun Monks in Southern China, etc.
    However, they were never meant to act as bodyguards for a chancellor. They're like commisioned officers within an armed force. And THAT, they shouldn't be.

    I've always considered the number of force users and jedi star wars Just bad And does it make sense
    That galaxy has a population of a hundred quadrillion
    So the jedi order should have the number of a few billion or a few trillion At least
    This is also why the size Of star wars militaries don't make sense or the size of galactic fleets of ships

    • @dorianwiesner4477
      @dorianwiesner4477 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Technically speaking, every being in the galaxy was Force sensitive to a degree, Though the midiclorian concentration would not be enough to do anything with it. The Jedi accepted only initiates with a certain minimal Force sensitivity, that still allows them to listen to the Will of the Force, which most beings simply didn't have. Adequate Force sensitivity was exceptionally rare and it was only thanks to the interconnection and medical services the Republic provided, that the Jedi had the numbers they had during the Separatist Crisis

      @@dorianwiesner4477You know One per cent of a hundred quadrillion is one quadrillion If you want to go smaller one quadrillion And its one percent is 10 trillion and Going Even further back One percent of a trillion is a hundred billion
      Think how small that is to entire population of a galaxy
      The number The jedi Have never made sense in the galaxy they Live in
      Same thing with military and ship of there fleets

      It’s Star Wars, it never was suppose to make any sense. Star Wars is just simple fun, huge space battles with crazy sizes ships coupled with small size Jedi vs Sith sabre combat. The stories are just put your brain on neutral and don’t asked too many questions just accept it the way it is. Trying to apply any of facts of scientific reality to Star Wars just defeat what it was made for…fun

    • @eds1942

      Most galaxy spanning scifi franchises are off with their numbers.
      Anyway, in Star Wars, where the actions of just one Force user can radically reshape the state of the galaxy in a hand full of years, imagine the constant chaos of a galaxy where every Force user at some point in their lives were to decide to shake things up, and we have a few trillion or quadrillion Force users at any one time roaming around. Civilization wouldn’t be the default state of the galaxy, tribalism and isolation would be the default state of things in the few systems in the galaxy where life is still possible.
