I would look at the air cleaner before starting it. I just bought a 98 Fatboy from the original owner with 28.000 on it. It is bone stock to include the foam rubble air cleaner. I pulled to cover off and the filter had disintegrated and all that would have gone right in the manifold. I will pull the heads off it this week to be sure it isn't full of that old air cleaner. The bike was stored for ten years after he bought a twin Cam. I sold both my twin cams I will stick with this Evo and my 72 FLH.
One of my faves. Picking one up in Northern MN with 13,xxx miles. Beautiful bike. Smooth runner. Won't pull your arms off but man it sounds/feels great.
Love your videos! Watching you rip up and down the street on an FXR or a shovelhead is bliss. I took a Fat Boy for a run once and the ride did not appeal to me although they are a much loved bike. This one is special. Own a Fat Bob and Dyna's do it for me. If I lived nearby I would be saving and emptying the piggy bank out constantly. You sure have some dream bikes there.
I have an opportunity to buy a bike exactly like this, colour and everything, 95th edition numbered bike in mint condition with only 1160 original miles. I dont know a lot about the Evo, what are the problem spots with this bike? are parts still available?

Best bike HD ever made. Problem #1 it will probably take 20 years before it breaks down. Parts to keep them running easily had. Oil and spark plugs
@@HuntingHarleys thank you, I’m going to buy it, I don’t need it I just want it
Currently have a 2021 Street Glide, 2014 Wide Glide and 2009 Rocker C
Treasure it, truly a nice machine. Make sure you warm up fully before every ride or the base gaskets blow

what do you need to sell
With the low number and around 12K miles, I consider it a collectors item. Would have to be worth my while. Make me an offer I can't refuse.
