wish they’d fix that obnoxious screech sound effect from the tail wheel just touching the pavement at -2 fpm. other than that, it looks good. the suspension looks a little stiffer now, which is more in line with the real airplane (at least from videos i’ve seen)
The P-47 is such an awesome module, brings a smile to my face just watching this. Had a short flight in it myself today and could definitely feel the new physics, a very nice update!
Far less time than I would like. I basically stream all my warbird flights and it's >90% on the Axis side flying the Anton (due to player balance on the server). I do have the basic handling skills down though.
English I don't speak French well enough to answer you so I use a translator app for this answer. I use OBS to stream and record videos using the DCS VR mirror. PC specs as follows: R9 5900X 64GB DDR4-3600 CL 17 RTX 3080TI Graphics settings are pretty high but it's VR so there are limits as to how far I can push it
The physics simulation of the landing gear and tyres received an update in the last patch a couple of weeks ago. Instead of acting more like springs that catapult you back into the air on the slightest touch of the ground it now acts like a proper landing gear with a suspension.

Man you know to fly a circuit in that thing! Love that base turn, keeping visual that whole time looked great.

Very nice video. Many thanks and kind regards Nick
Hey Nick, thanks for stopping by. Flying warbirds is one of my favourite things in DCS.
Looking forward to what's to come.
Cheers.
@@-ugly-Derby By the way, you fly very well indeed. Very smooth inputs. Kind regards, Nick
Nice video!❤
Thanks 🥕
Nice flying Derbysieger. It's obvious that you spend a lot of time in the Jug.

Is this VR ? The headtracking is fantastic, and adds a lot to the immersion.
The cockpit footage is VR, the external shots are recorded from a replay with the graphics settings cranked up.
@@-ugly-Derby thanks !
A fix is a fix. Just glad they finely did something.
Serait-il possible de nous indiquer vos réglages graphiques et matériels utilisés pour vos vidéos ?
Merci

Worth to buy this aircraft for multiplayer?
IMHO yes, it's one of the best DCS WWII modules in terms of quality, it's a capable high altitude fighter and a good ground pounder.
I thought the new physics had only been applied to the Mosquito and F18 thus far
It was added in this week's patch for both the P-47 and P-51
@@-ugly-Derby Excellent I missed that one. Cheers
microphone broken?
No, I just didn't do any commentary here.
what landing gear physics?
