MTM is like the girl in high school who you loved but her family hated you, you still want her but you found some one else. Im toxic pan so im here for the MTM drama, I think it the best in the game. Both mine came perfect I remember showing Josh V the video of it and how mine was so good haha
It's not an update to be honest. They just made an adapter for the foam head, the bottle is identical to the MTM GHF1 which was made for garden hoses. It's better now with the wide mouth imo, but MTM advertises it as the new improved design which is not true.
@@HyperSlayer72 I know! Probably because they had too many small neck bottles in stock, and they had to get rid of some first. They kinda solved the issue of having a small neck, although they should've used the concept behind the GHF1 model, which is plastic on plastic. So, for me, threads are (in a way) still vulnerable to crossthread, there's no gasket/seal between the adapter and the bottle and the plastic tabs that holds it in place, will eventually wear on the bottle. I might be wrong about this, but those are my thoughts on this towards longetivity.
@@PanTheOrganizer I am currently using a Foam King. It is "Meh" at best. But I am also just a hobbyist and not a professional, so the choice was more price driven. I am just tired of seeing all these folks spraying shaving cream looking foam using less product in their mix. 🙂 So I decided on the MJJC which seems to universally get good reviews and results.
To be honest, the only issue that I have with the small neck is that it’s a bit of a pain to flush the bottle out after using it. The wide neck makes this task much easier.
I'm not buying an update until a real update comes! I got two MTM Foam cannons: one five years old and the wide base about one~ years old. Both work flawless!
I got the Adam's Polishes foam cannon works great and can screw on to a cannon or a 16 oz soap bottle I use straight soap and soap the knives all the way off then one turn. I don't like refilling cannons every time so it helps save time. Groits Boss is best cannon out though
Thanks Pan. I was gonna order the conversion kit. I think I might put that money into an MJJC. And for record, I have no complaints about the model of MTM foam cannon I currently have. Till the next one.
I purchased the Adam’s Polishes Foam Cannon and their Mega Foam (reviewed in earlier post by Pan)…and it works great for me. I’m a detailing enthusiast. Thanks for the review Pan!!
I paid 65 shipped a few weeks ago for my Mjjc cannon s v3 . The bottle is also transparent so you can see how much liquid you add, dont need a extra measuring cup that leaves soap in the cup and Its just a extra thing to need to rinse out. I have tried several other cheaper ones and the mjjc is so much easier to use, much better to adjust the fan and opening and closing the bottle is silky smooth as butter everytime, and the foam is thicker and better as well.
It’s an awesome foam cannon for sure. Enjoy! Welcome to my channel. I have the original MTM and this new one looks disappointing. I've been putting off buying another foam cannon expecting MTM to come out with one that blows the doors off, but this is not what I expected. Just looks slapped together. Oh well, it's time to look elsewhere. Thank you for the upfront and honest review, which in turn saved me a bundle. 2 thumbs up Pan!
I have the pf22.2 already, and I just purchased the wide neck adapter for it. I like the mtm but truth be told, I have the cheap clear Amazon cannon as well and it performs just as good for me 😅 I also have the blackline cannon that my daughter bought for me off of the TikTok store for $15. Again works just as well as the mtm. I’ve held off of buying the mjjc v3 simply because my wife would probably be upset wondering why I need so many cannons haha. Thanks for the vid Pan!
I was about to buy the MTM but you got me looking at the Griot Boss now, especially because of the SS material. I know the importance of SS when it comes to PWers.
I own this foam cannon and YES, a tad underwhelming. When I first got it, I thought it was either defective OR I was just a weakling since I was having difficulty opening it. I also watch JoshV, and thankfully saw his review of this cannon where he talks about the difficulty opening it. After working it a bit (sans soap), it “broke in” and is much easier to screw on. I now wish I would have went with the MJJC but alas I now own this exact set up and I’m no professional so it’ll serve the purpose for me and my weekly car washing needs.
Good video Pan and I was expecting a step forward from MTM not a step backward. I still use the last edition foam cannon and it still works like day one. I use the Kobra jet hose with an MTM spray nozzle and the whole set up works time and time again. They need to redo this foamer quickly if they want my money. Thank you for the video Pan.
The New Lid - I've noticed a few initial online reviews where folks have been knocking the new plastic ’tabs' around the bottle’s neck. However when I got my two (2), and before I started just working the new "Upgrade Wide Mouth Lid"... I examined both my units VERY closely and got the rougher edges trimmed off after first making sure the lid was seated properly without any micro shards between… and also after working the lid back and forth and then rotating to a new position with a quarter turn (and working the lid again). I'm happy to report that I think MTM Hydro / Veloci Performance Products did have to make it "tight" at first as it works like butter now. My Conclusion on the New Lid - So could MTM/Veloci have done a quarter screw? Probably, but both my bottles are working great now and are very smoothly while still being snug. Yet again, I can see how someone not paying attention would or could just grab it and start twisting without the lid even being properly “popped” or “snapped/seated" down onto the bottle (like how one of the two bottles I have demonstrated). I had an audible "pop" when mine seated and sealed (where if I'd just jammed it on there and started twisting with all my brute force like a caveman. 😎 I too would have chewed up my notches. So I suggest people make sure the lid is pushed down all the way... just my 2-½ cents, without giving MTM/Veloci any excuses. 😇 Bottle Do NOT Tip Over & My Use for the "Old" Narrow Neck Bottles - Personally, I really like how these do NOT tip over if they are full or not; and attached or not. Then also, I still like my narrow necks with bottle caps. Plus, I just pour the remaining unused suds into an "Old" Narrow Neck for future use and another bottle with filtered water to rise with, too. Clarifying - The New Stainless Steel Pick-up Ball / Filter comes w/the Upgrade Kit - Also, it took a lot of effort to fully seat it into the tube (which in the video it was not seated as far as I got mine) if that matters or not. 🤷🏻😎 But I also ended up trimming my tube just a lil' bit to make it shorter... that way mine does NOT drag on the bottom and instead fits perfectly into the bottom rounded edges. So it also makes a good "stir stick". 🤓 Orifice for Foamjet 1.5MM-5.0 Part # 36.0235 Make HUGE Suds!!! So my two (2) Foam Cannon PF22.2 Cannon, both came stock from the factory with the bigger 1.5MM-5.0 Orifice. They were part of the AR 600 Series Pro Cart & Accessories Kit - PRO600-CCRT which is a full setup w/cart from AR Blue Clean and my brand new AR Blue Clean Pro 630 Hot/Warm - AR630TSS-HOT-WOGW Pressure Washer. Plus also... again I maybe ole school... but I just put Meguiars #62 Carwash Shampoo & Conditioner as both a pre-wash and wash... an it works great for me... super thick suds. Well anyway, hope that might be helpful to others out there, sure appreciate your videos Pan!!! 👍
You never can have too many detailing supplies. Especially when it comes to foam cannons lol. So far I have 6, all having special purposes for certain chemicals. The MTM foam cannon is still my favorite of them all!
@@PanTheOrganizer I have two MTM PF22.2 foam cannons and 4 of the Chem-X Chrone Cannons, which come with red or blue nozzles to kind of keep track of what chemical you have in them if you go by the color of the nozzle and have a clear base. It features almost the same things as the PF22.2 which being a wide mouth opening and base and have adjustable fans, horizontal or vertical and stream or wide foam spread. The MTM cannons I keep for my Gyeon Foam and other kinds of solutions that I trust on the paint of vehicles. The Chem-X cannons I use mainly for heavy equipment and solutions that are more aggressive cleaners. Either way I would choose the MTM foam cannon for detailing, whether you are a professional detailer or a weekend warrior.
I actually just got this thing as an upgrade to the first foam cannon I ever used as well as upgraded my pressure washer setup. I gotta say it’s pretty nice. However, I think I would get the old bottle and discard the adapter as well as get a stainless steel QC
If the tabs give you trouble, just shift the cap to left or right by one tab, and it will work perfectly. It seems to prefer locking together in a specific orientation.
They should have done a better job with their quality control and actual engineering of this. I never had such issues even with foam cannons at half the price. Unacceptable from what used to be the king of foam cannons in my opinion. It shows that when you sit on your laurels, the competition can blow right past you.
Pan I appreciate your help. I ended up getting the MJJ c because of you. My only problem was I dropped it and broke it. I broke about another bottle last night and a friend of mine just told me about the MTM so hopefully this bottle could take a drop I would’ve bought a third MJJC but since two already broke, I don’t wanna deal with that plastic bottle breaking again .
Hi. I'm guessing you are talking about the MJJC Foam Cannon S V3.0 ? The one with the clear bottle? Clear bottles aren't made from the same type of plastic as the opaque ones (like the MJJC Foam Cannon Pro v2.0 for example) so the clear bottles are more prone to crack if they are dropped. I never had issues, but I have heard of instances where that can happen. But that doesn't mean this can't also happen to other foam cannons like the MTM. It's just that they are less likely prone to cracking if dropped. But not 100% crack proof if that makes any sense.
Thank you for this very detailed review. I must say that for the price tag there are too many weak points, especially in terms of build quality. So, I agree with you that for the price it is way better the MJJC V3.
I decided to grab the "new"-ish wide neck bottle with a weighted ball from Carzilla in Alberta and I got this lightning fast as usual from them 3 weeks ago for around $25 CAD + taxes. Really happy so far, although I have the same complaint about the halfassed job at deburring the plastic tabs before shipping the final product. I used my Dremel to work it out and there's definitely less resistance/effort now while locking/unlocking the cap in place. Overall a nice little expenditure, since I don't use the same shampoo to foam for pre-wash and contact wash (never been a fan of the 2 buckets method TBH) this is now much better to have two bottles that I can prepare at the same time before going for it! Anyway, thanks for your review Pan, as always, it's truly nice to have your feedback!
If you'd should get it might be depending on your location. Where i am (Poland), the MJJC or Griots can only be had through ebay with international shipping substantially increasing the price. MTM is available but pretty expensive, but the autoglym foam cannon for example is pretty much identical looking to the MTM PF22.2 and reasonably priced and commonly available. That's one reason why i like your reviews where there's at least like 4 or 5 options, because due to availability 2 or 3 options may simply not make sense due to shipping fees.
Just a small correction.. It is not the MTM company that has released a new version, but instead veolocity. The bottle itself is made by MTM as it is intended to be used with their foam cannon for the water hose. Veolocity has 3d printed an adapter which can now be bought as an "update". Personally, I don't think it's worth the money as it fits badly and is difficult to put on and take off. That is why we have taken the initiative to have a new version cast here in Denmark, which has the exact measurements and fits perfectly. Good video and review as always
Very interesting that it's not really from the manufacturer. That makes much more sense given their typical quality. I have to wonder if they will have an official version coming soon.
I thought Veloci was the same or parent company of MTM? Least the literature when i got the MTM made it seem so. The part is also lasted on various stores as MTM
@@NeilNatic it is difficult to say whether they will make an original version. Personally, I think that if MTM comes out with a new version, they will update the entire foam lance and not just the bottle..
I bought my PF22.2 apparently right before a lot of these newer ones came out. It was the one to buy at the time and still remember feeling very underwhelmed at the several parts of the construction. Especially the first time I tried shaking it to mix the solution only to see it leak all over. Ordering the GG one soon and will either retire it or use it as a backup. Disappointing update
Hey Pan, I just bought and used the new mtm foam cannon. It’s my 1st mtm foam cannon. I previously had the trinova foam cannon which lasted me 4 years and would’ve kept going if I didn’t drop and cracked it 😂🙃. It’s way better than the trinova foam cannon but the price for the mtm is kind of high. Keep up the good videos. 👌🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

Pan I have the old one. I've been in business over 30 years. It's okay it didn't have a filter on the bottom of the straw inside the bottle so I had to put one on I kept getting clogged. And then it started leaking after about 2 months of working when you're spraying the foam. Wasn't happy with it overall maybe the new one will be better
Thanks pan josh also mentioned that it leaked as well also he had to trim the opening at the top he did say over time it may become better after use but I think I will stick with my Mjjc ver 2 thanks great video
Ahhaha Glad you enjoyed it! Hey by the way I watch your channel often! It’s nice to see a fellow detailer and content creator from my province and country!! Il va falloir se rencontrer en personne un jour!! 💪🏻👍🏻
I have a friend who jumped on buying the 22.2 with the wide neck and that style of top is also a pain for him as well. He let me use it, and I hated the top style and it just didn't seem to fit right. Between us we think that fitment is also the source of leaking when you mix the solution if you turn the bottle upside down. Shame, because my PF22.2 with the narrow mouth is fantastic. If I decide to jump to a wide-mouth cannon, I'd probably buy the Griots' Boss version myself.
I had recently purchased the version 3 after seeing your awesome video... Produced great foam, except the brass quality was defective and broke when I went to remove the bottle...
As someone who has one, I legit think they could have waited in R&D to make the perfect PF22 type of foam cannon. I cant help it, but the overall design feels like a rushed prototype to compete against MJJC and Griots rather than an authentic high end Veloci product. Thanks for the feedback of this Pan, keep up the great work.
If the fitting isnt that great, i can stick with my $23 brass one from Amazon (AstroAI Foam Cannon) that foams great 😂.... Last one lasted me 5 yrs doing summer mobile detailing 😅... Thanks hun...
Thanks Pan. I do have the PF22.2 purchased when you had made a video of it and it works great. My first foam canon was the Autoglym foam canon which is also not bad and perhaps one day i will check out what all the craze was about for the Bear Force
I have both MTM pf22.2 and MJJC Pro v2 and love them both. The MJJC just seems to suction up the soap from the bottle too quickly. Yeah, I could turn the knob down but I like the thick foam. But when I wash my wife’s SUV, I just use MTM - I can pre-wash foam the car, rinse, foam again for contact wash. Can’t do that with MJJC because I run out and have to fill again a little bit. I think I’ll wait for a proper upgrade on the MTM. Great video as always Pan. When is the “Pan has a beautiful new ride” video coming out? Looking forward to seeing which car you chose!
i already have the MTM PF22.2 and was excited about this new bottle. i wonder if i put a wire wheel on my drill and just clean the tabs a bit iof that would solve the issue. also have you tried to swap out the flex tube from the MJJC into the PF22.2 and see if it fits, I'm so curious if they are compatible because I agree with you about the rigidity of the MTM tube. thanks Pan
To me one of the biggest drawbacks is that if you want to take the bottle off and cap it, you have to remove the body from the adapter lid and cap it with their small lids from the old one.
MTM was the best. Definitely the best looking. But other companies ( MJJC & Griots Boss) have surpassed MTM. Quality definitely has decreased. So sad. My go to for the pass 3-4 years has been the mjjc pro v2.0. It never disappoints
Here in Scandinavia, the Kärcher (Pro) Foam Lance w/ Kärcher's Easy!Lock Quick seems decent -for the HD 5/15 CX. Stjärnagloss or Autoglym for the K5 and the K7. In England some swear by AVA (of Norway) from Bergen
It's definitely kind of a shoddy update, but I personally don't mind because i was able to update my existing foam cannon easily (and add extra bottles) with the adapter kits. As for the fit of the bottles, i just took a utility knife and chamfered the edges of the tabs to make for an easier fit. Works great and easy on/off (but not too easy). Definitely a good update for existing owners of MTM foam cannons, but they need to innovate and make a better solution if they want to bring new customers in.
My first choice was the newest from Autobrite direct ( easy in maintenance and relatively cheap) but the company wont deliver outsite Great britain.😕 I have now this MTM with small neck and does the job very well.

Great review Pan. Thanks for being honest. I currently have a couple of cheaper foam cannons and my favorite. Griot’s Garage Boss. I was thinking about the MJJC V3.0. We’ll see. Have a great evening my friend. Hope your weather is starting to get warm.
It's never recommended to use pressure washers beyond 2000 psi to wash cars, so I never tested anything in your range of 4000 psi. But a quick glance at the specs on the MTM website, and you get this: Min. 1,100 psi - Max. 5,000 psi Min. 1.4 gpm - Max. 5.3 gpm
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you! I was thinking of the others too but will see what their specs are. Going to watch your comparison now. I can turn down the pressure a bit if need be.
I recently met a new neighbor who asked me a question that came as a complete shock to me. The couple recently moved from Canada to the US. They said that many parts of Canada have laws banning washing cars in private driveways because the foam, cleaners, oil or whatever would end up in the storm drain. Is this really true? Or are they just messing with me? (they were watching me use my foam cannot to completely cover my car) Just wondering....
You cannot wash your vehicle on the street/driveway in Calgary, Alberta. Time to challenge the bylaw, the commercial washes use much more water and higher alkaline soaps that are worse for the environment than what most users would buy to wash their cars at home. .
Hey Pan nice video again. By any chance you have any recommendation for a cordless pressure washer? I have no access to water hose. Been looking on Amazon but not sure which one I should get. Also, how many psi and gpm am I looking for to use foam canon with cordless pressure washer? Thank you so much.
@PanTheOrganizer Thank you so much for the response Pan. It's a really good cordless pressure washer but $799 seems out of budget for me :(. Would you say buying it off amazon for $100 - $200 price range would be ok for personal use? I have seen some 1000 psi with 1.5 gpm is that enough to produce power for foam canon? Thank you again Pan you are the best!
Hi Pan, I love your videos and have been learning a ton..but I'm on info overload can you please tell me what would be best for a car that needs protection and is not garaged..I wanted to try the 303 graphine spray, is there any other steps or advice you can give me??
It seems to be hit or miss with their quality control. I think they could have done much better given all the years they had to see what everybody else is doing. They could have blown their competition out of the water had they engineered this better. Instead, we got a half baked update… I’m disappointed in them, knowing their were the kings of foam cannons five years ago.
I’m pretty set on the MJJC pro 2.0 but I really need help deciding on what snub nose wand to pair with it. I have been looking at some of the more expensive brands and noticed that the reviews aren’t all that good. I was starting to lean towards the new snubby by chemical guys since it’s fairly inexpensive and has a swivel. Whats your opinion?
An example of a company that was on top of their game and rested on their laurels. Now they half ass a new version. Classic case of the Tortoise and the Hare
Just discovered your channel in the last couple of days you're very informative and cover everything thank you very much I subscribed after watching 2 of your vids thanks again

Good morning ing Pan! I’m interested… so I know you have the best of awards for all the chemicals. I also know that you do tool/accessory tests/battles.Have you ever thought of doing a best of for all the tools and accessories? Keep the videos coming 1 million views is knocking on the door!!
It would be too big of a task as I am more of a chemicals channel than an equipment channel. I don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of testing pressure washers too haha.
Totally agree a few months back there was all this drama about Cerakite and now a few months down the line no one is talking about it. Whether the problem has been fixed or will be fixed what is going on ??!!??
Last I heard they finalized the new version and will send emails soon to everyone who ordered the first version, offering free replacements. That should happen in the coming weeks. And then they’ll have it available to the rest of the people to buy.
Pan love the videos but you definitely have to try out the Blackline foam cannon. Compared to this new foam cannon you just reviewed it's much better in quality yet nearly half the price. Weighted ball, wide opening and all quality manufactured parts.
Personally have been using the MTM foam cannon for years but once I started working with the Blackline company and their products I've come to love their Blackline foam cannon and would love for you to try one out
Hey Pan: I took your advise when you did the foam cannon shoot out. I bought the Griots cannon and use Adam’s Snow foam or Griots snow foam. I’ve had good results with both. Great Videos keep it going.
Excellent review! I bought it but I'm returning it because there's a problem with the lid and bottle! It was a bad developer. I can't tell if it is a good performance or not! :-(
With my minimal usage with my MTM foam cannon the user experience was subopar. Sure you could blame on being a newbie in the pressure washer world but nothing stood out to me that is was something special and the smaller fill hole was not super fun to work with. Fast forward to now, I went ahead and ordered the BOSS for my EGO because I knew I wouldn't like the headache of using the new wide mouth PF22.2 because of it's mediocre design.
Pan another great video & review. It’s a shame the engineering isn’t that great. If I’m paying good money I don’t want to be playing around trying to get things to fix! Anyway tks Pan. PS Andy need to get his car in some of these reviews! If nothing else he’d get his car washed more often!😝😝😝

Oh that's good! I don't see a "subscribed" logo next to your name, so perhaps that's just a TH-cam glitch. But thanks for being a part of the PTO family!
I am not impressed with the new design. I don’t like that dark bottle that much. I’ll stick with my MJJC pro version two and my Adams premium foam canon. Both of those are super high-quality, especially the Adams for Quality! I love your new car by the way, it’s unbelievably cool! 😎
So disappointing. I bought 3 extra bottles I had same experience with the lids. The biggest problem is when you need to swap bottles the head also comes off. I had to add an O-ring to keep the top on. For $90 I shouldn’t have to modify something. Plus the zinc plug is sad. I’ll be switching to the Griots Boss cannon.
I didn't know that the adapter was made in china, I have the non widemouth one and 2 months ago all the foam from it stopped. Doesn't work anymore, and opening it up the entire adapter was severely rusted and even some of the internals. Pretty disappointed for 90 bucks. My cheap chinese 15 dollar foam cannon is run with brake buster and has been running for years without me ever cleaning it or emptying it out, compared to the mtm which was cleaned after use and only ran with neutral soap.
Video idea! If you could only pick 1 brand to detail with what brand would cover you best? I don't like mix matched tool brands or appliances and want the same in my garage! Help! 1 brand tool to cover all my needs detailing my own car as a hobby.
I can’t have just one brand for all the tools. And not one brand makes all the tools. Companies that make wash mitts don’t make brushes and brands that make machine polishers don’t make other stuff. I get the best equipment I can for my budget, regardless of brand.
@PanTheOrganizer but you're a pro! You need the best. I just need good stuff. It's just me and my older car. I'm ok with different brands for polishers and mits towels, but I'd like for most of my chemicals to be the same brand. I'm thinking of the brand you chose for the bug cleaner. GTech something. They seem to have a great selection of detailing chemicals and not always out of stock like carpro or diy.
I think this review has the most negative (but honest) points I've ever seen in any of your foam canon reviews.....the shocking part being the company behind the release. What an awful show from the former GOATS. There was so much potential for them to lead the way with a new release and instead we get what truly looks like an after thought. No stainless steel.....the leaks.....the actual base unit....there is no precision here....this was an attempt to suck more money from consumers but unfortunately, as you rightfully said....the competition has now taken over. What a shame and what a disappointment. Who the hell will buy just the base when it's cutouts look like a primary school was put in charge of the production lin! Stick with Griots or plenty others to help continue making snow foaming a pleasure and not a 30 minute visit to the shed trying to fix this monstrosity of a product.
I have the MTM from Obsessed Garage. That looks like a disappointing update. I also have 2 different Griots models and those are superior on the important points. Not just the foaming. I like the sturdy threaded attachment method on the Griots. And it just foams better than the MTM. Hopefully they tweak it based on the reviews and fix it. But out of the box that seems like they dropped the ball.
The MTM is out of date even in the wide mouth. I have tested $15 Amazon cannons that were better all-around and functioned great. This thing was a failure on a lot of levels and I am disappointed on their lack of effort. The only thing that was good is for someone that had the old model they could get the new bottle and adapter for a fair price. You should do a giveaway for your old MTM or something to give back to the people. I think that would be fun.

MTM is like the girl in high school who you loved but her family hated you, you still want her but you found some one else. Im toxic pan so im here for the MTM drama, I think it the best in the game. Both mine came perfect I remember showing Josh V the video of it and how mine was so good haha
😂😂😂👍🏻
It's not an update to be honest. They just made an adapter for the foam head, the bottle is identical to the MTM GHF1 which was made for garden hoses. It's better now with the wide mouth imo, but MTM advertises it as the new improved design which is not true.
Wow good catch, yeah what took them so long considering they already had this in production.
Agree
Thank you for the review. You just saved me $86. I was about to pull the trigger on this.
Glad I could help 👍🏻. What foam cannon are you currently using?
They the Griot's Boss. It's literally a whole new benchmark. I almost get dry foam under the right conditions
@@PanTheOrganizer I am currently using a Foam King. It is "Meh" at best. But I am also just a hobbyist and not a professional, so the choice was more price driven. I am just tired of seeing all these folks spraying shaving cream looking foam using less product in their mix. 🙂
So I decided on the MJJC which seems to universally get good reviews and results.
@@darkwhorse That's insane.
Thanks for using DIY Detail Incredible Suds
👍🏻
To be honest, the only issue that I have with the small neck is that it’s a bit of a pain to flush the bottle out after using it. The wide neck makes this task much easier.
Good review pan!
Thanks bro! 👍🏻
👍🏻
I paid 65 shipped a few weeks ago for my Mjjc cannon s v3 . The bottle is also transparent so you can see how much liquid you add, dont need a extra measuring cup that leaves soap in the cup and Its just a extra thing to need to rinse out. I have tried several other cheaper ones and the mjjc is so much easier to use, much better to adjust the fan and opening and closing the bottle is silky smooth as butter everytime, and the foam is thicker and better as well.
It’s an awesome foam cannon for sure. Enjoy!

Thanks Kim! I hope you’re doing well.
Just purchased the Boss, very impressed!
Good choice!
Thorough review, Pan. Critical, when deserved. Thanks! 👍
Thanks!
I was about to buy the MTM but you got me looking at the Griot Boss now, especially because of the SS material. I know the importance of SS when it comes to PWers.
The Griot's BOSS foam cannon is for sure superior to the MTM in terms of build quality.
Thanks Neil!
$115.99CDN+tx for a foam cannon is crazy
Buy once cry once. It ls not for you. Not for me either tbf.
Honestly it is crazy
Thank you for the very candid assessment. Love my Brilliant Foam Cannon with extra bottles for hot swapping Brake Buster and plain water for rinsing.
The New Lid -
I've noticed a few initial online reviews where folks have been knocking the new plastic ’tabs' around the bottle’s neck.
My Conclusion on the New Lid -
So could MTM/Veloci have done a quarter screw? 😇
Bottle Do NOT Tip Over & My Use for the "Old" Narrow Neck Bottles -
Personally, I really like how these do NOT tip over if they are full or not; and attached or not. Then also, I still like my narrow necks with bottle caps. Plus, I just pour the remaining unused suds into an "Old" Narrow Neck for future use and another bottle with filtered water to rise with, too.
Clarifying - The New Stainless Steel Pick-up Ball / Filter comes w/the Upgrade Kit -
Also, it took a lot of effort to fully seat it into the tube (which in the video it was not seated as far as I got mine) if that matters or not. 🤷🏻😎 But I also ended up trimming my tube just a lil' bit to make it shorter... that way mine does NOT drag on the bottom and instead fits perfectly into the bottom rounded edges. So it also makes a good "stir stick". 🤓
Orifice for Foamjet 1.5MM-5.0 Part # 36.0235 Make HUGE Suds!!!
Thanks for sharing your experience.
You never can have too many detailing supplies. Especially when it comes to foam cannons lol. So far I have 6, all having special purposes for certain chemicals. The MTM foam cannon is still my favorite of them all!
What other foam cannons do you have?
@@PanTheOrganizer yeah unfortunately that’s was my 2nd broken bottle I didn’t want to take the risk again
Thank you for this very detailed review.
I must say that for the price tag there are too many weak points, especially in terms of build quality.
So, I agree with you that for the price it is way better the MJJC V3.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks!
Just ordered the MTM PF22.2. Looks to be cheaper and easier to get replacement bottles for the MTM the the MJJC.
Great review video. You really done a good job of explaining the issues.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for sharing
You should have put snow foam in first than pour water to achieve a splash blend
Too many negative for me. Thanks for the information!
You're welcome
Another great video Pan. I just picked up the MJJC to replace my Adams foam gun. I think the MJJC foams better but time will tell. Thanks man
Yes MJJC foams better than most.
Thanks pan josh also mentioned that it leaked as well also he had to trim the opening at the top he did say over time it may become better after use but I think I will stick with my Mjjc ver 2 thanks great video

Bonjour à tous les deux, je suis vos chaînes que j apprécié beaucoup, faites nous plus de vidéos en français. Merci pour tout. 😊
Well said Cardos!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks! This coming Saturday is when my viewers will see my new vehicle unveiled! It’s going to be a massive video! 😁👍🏻🫡
i already have the MTM PF22.2 and was excited about this new bottle. i wonder if i put a wire wheel on my drill and just clean the tabs a bit iof that would solve the issue. also have you tried to swap out the flex tube from the MJJC into the PF22.2 and see if it fits, I'm so curious if they are compatible because I agree with you about the rigidity of the MTM tube. thanks Pan
👍🏻
To me one of the biggest drawbacks is that if you want to take the bottle off and cap it, you have to remove the body from the adapter lid and cap it with their small lids from the old one.
MTM was the best. Definitely the best looking. But other companies ( MJJC & Griots Boss) have surpassed MTM. Quality definitely has decreased. So sad. My go to for the pass 3-4 years has been the mjjc pro v2.0. It never disappoints
Well said Tim!
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you 🙏
Brilliant review, Pan, great to see the truth being told. I have to say, a narrow neck never bothered me, just use a funnel 😂.
They should release a transparent version, it looks much better!! excellent video!!
Here in Scandinavia, the Kärcher (Pro) Foam Lance w/ Kärcher's Easy!Lock Quick seems decent -for the
HD 5/15 CX.
Definitely a good update for existing owners of MTM foam cannons, but they need to innovate and make a better solution if they want to bring new customers in.
does the griots foam as good as the mjjc ??
Griot’s is the best in build quality. MJJC foams more.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you. i love your reviews.

Thanks Jim! Yeah it’s finally 10-15C in Montreal these days haha
I have a 4gpm / 4000 psi cold pressure washer will the MTM pf22.2 canon work well with this?
It's never recommended to use pressure washers beyond 2000 psi to wash cars, so I never tested anything in your range of 4000 psi.
But a quick glance at the specs on the MTM website, and you get this:
Min. 1,100 psi - Max. 5,000 psi
Min.
It’s true in some provinces and municipalities. But not in my province (Quebec).
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks! One more reason that I love Quebec, my favorite part of Canada! :)
You cannot wash your vehicle on the street/driveway in Calgary, Alberta. Time to challenge the bylaw, the commercial washes use much more water and higher alkaline soaps that are worse for the environment than what most users would buy to wash their cars at home. .
Thank you for an another great video. A little off topic but would you do a video on Icon Rocklear coating?
Hey Pan great review
Very disappointing by MTM. I would of expected more. I would be upgrading
Thanks for saving me some money Pan. Gonna pass on this one.
You bet!
Hey Pan nice video again. By any chance you have any recommendation for a cordless pressure washer? I have no access to water hose. Been looking on Amazon but not sure which one I should get. Also, how many psi and gpm am I looking for to use foam canon with cordless pressure washer? Thank you so much.
th-cam.com/video/MPNL2DG51l0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RjJrntHDMiXfOYsK
My locking tabs were perfect out of the box. 2 fingers was all that was needed to grip it.
I only have one foam cannon the MJJC version 2 and couldn’t be happier, I appreciate the video, thanks Pan 👍😁
👍🏻
I’m pretty set on the MJJC pro 2.0 but I really need help deciding on what snub nose wand to pair with it. I have been looking at some of the more expensive brands and noticed that the reviews aren’t all that good. I was starting to lean towards the new snubby by chemical guys since it’s fairly inexpensive and has a swivel. Whats your opinion?
You're in luck! I tested a bunch of good ones in this video: th-cam.com/video/zxW0TWXjJG0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Q7h9sHoDZ4t9kc_R

Hello there just wondering on whether or not you will be doing a review on the new active 2.3 pressure washer
I don’t focus on pressure washer reviews, so it depends if I get enough viewer requests for it.

@@PanTheOrganizer that’s why your #🥇 my friend …keep up the good work !

I have a feeling it will be very good.
I agree Ryan!
I want these materials here, Turkey, Istanbul
Please help me
I’ll wait until they fix the issue
Superb but not a good experience for everyone. Seems they are having a quality control issue they've got to solve
👍🏻
BEFORE THE TRADE Of the new Porsche Cayenne! ;-)
MJJC is the best
Which one do you have? MJJC S v3.0 or Pro v2.0 ?
@PanTheOrganizer I like the 2.0 over the 3.0
I didn't know that the adapter was made in china, I have the non widemouth one and 2 months ago all the foam from it stopped.
We better get a special video for $1M subs! 😁
You will definitely see something special this Saturday. Stay tuned!
I think that would be fun.
ill stick to the mjjc v3.0!
That’s an awesome foam cannon. 👍🏻
