its kit is almost like soldier 76. quite simple but surprisingly able to do a lot of things
Yup, It’s almost exactly like soldier! Other mobile suits can sprint and dash too though, so it doesn’t have that advantage compared to Overwatch, but it makes up for this with how strong its g maneuver is
Wait till you figure out the dark story behind the suit. The name implies that it controls the pilot, not the other way around.
No auto-aim though. Pure skill.
Man, I was expecting the terrifying scream upon HADES activation. Yes, in story, Pale Rider always release a terrifying scream whenever it activate HADES.
the HADES system also gives you immense and immeasurable brain damage which can make you revert into a young child as well as shortening your life span. Thank you UC MS systems.
Might have to think twice about pressing Q on Pale Rider next time...
HADES system is just a stronger EXAM system.
The ALICE system is another story, from the EX-S Gundam.
All benefits without the negative side effects.
@@YukitoOnline the ALICE is pretty much the only New type system in UC that has 0 downsides (not counting weird incestual undertones of the AI initially seeing you as a father figure before slowly seeing you as a romantic partner)

He can support, deal damage, Big Aoe skills, pale rider is good for someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

I don't usually play these kinds of games but I love the Gundam IP so much and am very excited for this game. Your three videos so far have been phenomenal, very clear and great tips, structure is great too. Subscribed!!! Can't wait to play when it's available to.

Most important tip of the pale Rider, at least for the gundam fans out there: You gotta use the little girl voice. It wouldn't be the Pale Rider if it wasn't piloted by a forsaken child soldier.

This game has so much potential with so many mobile suits from this franchise. Pale Rider alone has so many variants that use all kind of weapons and Bandai could just make another Pale Rider as another playable MS but with different weapons load out.
Zaku II has “ranged” in its name, so we might actually get variants as playable ms!

i don't see pale rider as a flanker, I'd say he plays better with his team due to how consistent his weapon is. a pale rider backing up a sazabi sounds like a scary thing to me
To be fair, Pale Rider gets better playing with its team than it arguably should. But, ranged damage dealing is all about controlling angles on the enemy, Pale Rider can’t control any with its team. So the enemy can just safely avoid your damage when they want to by using cover, and send one of their units to flank you and pump in damage constantly

Considering that this is in the game I guess an EXAM equipped unit wouldn’t be coming anytime soon since the ability would be pretty much near identical in the lore the only difference is the EXAM actually has a soul of a person doing the performance jump but it did kill the users who is not compatible. Although I would love to see some of the blue destiny units
I think we could still get it in the game 🤔
I can't wait for this game to come out. Given the in game English they have for some character trailers, it seems hopeful that the west will get this.
Yup, that’s what the general consensus is! I’d be surprised if we don’t get it to be honest
It's 100% releasing in the West and it's releasing on PS4 and PS5 as well now. Hopefully we get Cross-platform play. Network test starting this spring for US and JP. Expect this game to release very very soon.

I feel like the buster gundam would be the best to release post game as it would function as a long range sazabi with a lot of long range dps and a relly strong q but would be slower than sazabi and have little dps at close range as it's rail cannon would have a slow fire rate and it's beam would require a few seconds to charge.

@@Dunmuir I feel like since so many gundams would just end up as retrains of others we will end up with some less popular ones so I think buster would be the most unique. Duel is to much like rx-78-2, strike would be hard to transfer over, aegis could be cool, blitz would be similar to Barbatos. Maybe death scythe could show up but I think altron or wing zero would show up first. I also think having a bunch of skins based on other mobile suits would be cool as well. Barbados gets a lupus skin, the GM gets a gm 3, rx-78-2 gets duel maybe.
@@Aceshot-uu7yx think you're pretty spot on with this analysis. They can only put in so many ms that have similar silhouettes to others. So they'll opt to make those skins, while turning to the most popular other mobile suits that are still distinct enough to be recognizable from silhouette mid match
@@Dunmuir also keeps function of the suits intact as the GM line are all so similar in design and purpose. Maybe they would be unlockables or on a rotation plan? The major issue would be obvious upgrades like lupus rex, a suit with a very diffrent silhouette. Going with the idea of the buster gundam, a skin based on the Verde or hail would be appropriate. What would your fream skin or mobile suit be?
@@Aceshot-uu7yxI just want more main tank mobile suits. Sazabi is the only one we have at the moment. But something similar to Reinhardt would be super cool

if they made this same character the Gundam Ez8, which is my favorite OYW mobile suit design, I'd probably be interested in maining it even though its a pretty normal machine gun soldier 76 type character. since its just this random thing from some PS3 game I've never played, though, I'm not interested...
They’ve added some niche suits to the game so far, but they probably wouldn’t go thaaat niche 🤔
@@Dunmuir I dunno, I mean the Ez8 is a Gundam type-suit from a pretty well regarded OVA series, I'd say its a lot less niche than the Zeta grunt suits like the Marasai, Asshimar, and Methuss (not that I'm mad, its absolutely amazing to see those obscure retro suits in the limited roster of a 2022 game of all things)

I was more of a Team Fortress 2 guy than an Overwatch guy. Would it be accurate to liken the Pale Rider to the Scout?
That’s the comparison I hear a lot, but pale rider’s just a run and gun type of unit
I thought the pale rider would have melee cause it has the HADES system.
I do find myself missing having the melee often, on other units too
