Why do so many people hate the man makes a living off of buy fixing and flipping bikes STFU do y'all watch just to hate help or be quiet.. Nice content keep up the good work and vids
Ethan, well first of all if you have a bleeder or make one like knob head here did you don't have to keep opening and closing valve. Second you don't leave any bubbles what so ever you want till there is a nice clear non bubbly street and third that's just not how you do it.
@@devinthompson3694 man, your really angry over constructive criticism. The fact that he knows how to properly bleed breaks shows that he has experience, you don't need to tell somebody to stfu because they wanted to give somebody some advice, are you delusional
Just so u know brutha , to bleed brakes...you keep the bleeder nut closed, pump the brakes until it’s gets real stiff and hold the brake pedal down, crack the bleeder nut open until the pressure is gone then close it again. Release the brake pedal. Then pump the brakes up tight again holding brake pedal down (this holds the pressure in the line) then crack the bleeder nut open again. Repeat this until you don’t see any air bubbles coming out. Pumping the brake while the bleeder nut is open just allows air back into the system. We all do things incorrectly at times. No big deal. Just learn as u go. Nothing wrong with that.
Scott Meyer whats wrong with putting wd40 in the caliper? I’ve rebuilt many calipers and unlocked them with wd40 then flushing the caliper correctly and never had an issue.
Turtle bello Well yeah sure if you have it apart and flush it out correctly it Will be fine. This Guy fills the cylinder with wd40 and doesnt even take it apart to clean it. There is definetly still oil in the system
Your all putting negative comments yeah he might not have the best knowledge in bikes but fair play to the lad giving it a go and if you don’t like it don’t watch rather then making negative comments and he’s learning as he goes which is the best way to learn keep it up bud well done 👍🏻
As a lot of other people have commented, you do some bike maintenance things that are just wrong. Please spend some time watching some videos by qualified people before you do these jobs. You`ve got to treat your bikes better! People have been saying since like the beginning of your youtube channel. Listen to people godammit, its like you are doing it on purpuse to piss us off...
That's a lot to do with braking problems is there wheel is not tight to the chain adjuster blocks and the wheel is cocked to one side putting a bind on the rotor.
you need to get an actual brake bleeder that pushes the fluid from the bleeder up into the reservoir and thus eliminates the air and fills the reservoir all in one shot.. it makes it so much easier to do ATV and bike brakes because the pistons arent big enough to really push alot of fluid at one time so it can take forever to fully bleed them so the brake bleeding tool makes it super fast and easy and it doesn't cost much.. the whole kit is like 30 bucks so those people saying if you always buy tools you never put money in your pocket are dumb because at some point you need the proper tools to make the job go alot faster so you can get more work done :) especially with the amount of brakes you fix
Hold the throttle full when you kick, and as soon as you hear the engine start just let go, that's how I do it, the choke is fine and all but most of the time I don't even need it, only problem with doing that is when there is a problem with the bike and you end up flooding the crankshaft buuuuut if you know it's fine you can easily just go full throttle and it will start so easily :)
John I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong or not but when it’s below freezing I keep my bike in a warm environment and then let it idle for 2 min still just so I don’t take chances
you can do it his way but needs to be brake fluid in the bottle the idea of pump pump pump hold down brake lever crack bleeder then tighten bleeder release brake is to prevent air from getting sucked back in once released his method will suck back in water if it was brake fluid it would suck back in brake fluid
Six years don't necessarily make a bike faster, it just tightens the gear ratio for faster acceleration. The only thing that makes bikes faster is if you have wide ratio gears or change sprocket sizes.
To properly bleed the brakes you pump up the brakes and hold it then loosen the bleeder bolt. If you pump it whiyl the bleeder is loose it just puts more air in them. Just a little tip.
Pump the breaks til stiff with the bleeder CLOSED hold the pedal or lever crack bleeder make full stroke in one direction pumping Fluid and air out. Don’t release pressure from the pedal or lever until you have closed the bleed port
Not gonna lie dude, I got Forrest Whitaker eye watching you bleed that back brake. Brake fluid is hydroscopic, if you're going to bleed that way use brake fluid in the bottle not water. I had a 93 KX 125 it was good little bike.
Thats not how you bleed a brake, crack the stem open, push the brake pedal all the way down, hold it,close the bleed valve, let the brake lever come back up,repeat till you see no bubbles.thats a nice kx man

well thats a different way then ive ever seen to bleed a brake.......its easier to pump it up and hold it then crack your bleeder valve letting the air out until you get all fluid.. i dont know how it didnt suck water back up but hell maybe thats a way i should try lol
Good job on the DEAL, but you've proven that a garage full of dirt bikes and ATVs does not make you a mechanic. Put box wrench in bleed valve, then attach a clean, clear 1/4" hose long enough to reach to mid-bottom of the 3/4 filled water bottle. Loosen and then lightly close bleed valve screw, while pushing on brake pedal slowly, then open bleed valve and close it up before brake pedal bottoms. Release brake pedal. Top up fluid in reservoir as req'd. Repeat until all tiny air bubbles are gone and clean fluid only comes through. The way you do it lets air back in through the valve screw threads when the brake is pumped. Also, WD40 is not brake fluid, so it should be flushed out with a good amount of fluid if you're not going to repair the stuck piston with a proper rebuild. Many dirt riders overuse and depend on the rear brake so you should fix it right. Add $50 more and sell it that way. Cold, dry weather is good - makes more 2T power.
