- I end up doing some last minute finishing touches to the 1995 Kawasaki Kx250. I change the oil, clean the carburetor and then attempt the FIRST start on this dirt bike. Will it run after sitting? #Kawasaki, #FirstStart, #2stroke,

2vintage do they have bling kits or just stuff to make just to make it run better
You should use castor 927 for your premix it’s the best out there and the reviews and performance and longevity of the top end using it proves it!
Why don’t u get a yz250 2 stroke 02-present or new and a yz125 same years

there are some judgemental and disrespectful people , but when he titles things like it rips,,its sick or a beast and they barley run? I think that's why people are hard on him..Kinda comes off as trash talking. and as others have commented most of his stuff barley runs. that is all!!
Williams all the machines I get are ancient. I always get them running. The point of this channel is to get the bikes revived not perfect!
Bike looks and sounds pretty damn good but I would have shut it down as soon as I heard metal to metal! Lucky it was a simple fix and no shrapnel! 👍

I have a 92’ kx125
No disrespect dude I think your videos are great but I think you need to tune the carbs on your 2 strokes better. All of the 2 stroke bikes I have seen you work on all sound like they are choking, either too much air or too much fuel. Keep up the good work man just a bit of constructive criticism lol. 🤘

I have a 98 Suzuki RM 250 and love it. It's vintage like me😁 plenty if power in every gear. Needed crank bearings and a top end when I got it. Nice otherwise. Rips now!!!

i work for lucas oil at their main plant in Cordyn Indiana weve done plenty of tests and our oil is indeed the best and lasts the longest

I had the exact same noise coming from my buddy’s ‘95 KX250, weirdly. His turned out to be the kickstarter rattling and vibrating against the frame. Strange coincidence 😂

I honestly went with 2-3 kicks that second one didn't count because the second didn't fully kick over as you pointed out so I was on the money LOL Any bike that is getting correct fire fuel and compression should start no more than 2-3 kicks In my experience with bikes it always worked that way for me If it didn't crank in 2-3 kicks I knew something wasn't exactly right and it would bug me to death till I figured it out LOL ✌️

If you can fix the leak easily, adding an extra gasket should move the cover far enough away from the clutch. I'd hammer it straight again and have it welded, brazed at the least

The grinding could also be the clutch plates not separating all the way I had a ktm 85 sx and it had the same problem when ever I rode it I made a adjustment and put different oil in it and it worked fine after I took it for a quick ride

okay so... I'm gonna start packing my things up and moving over there if that cool? XD lol. IDK why, but the prices you get these things for is just amazing. this bike is treated gorgeously and you paid 1200 for a simple clutch bolt? My god, i'll come over there ASAP lol. Not that far of a drive :P
Edit: Also, isn't there suppose to be a gasket on that clutch cover? I know my yfz 450 has one but that doesn't mean all quads and bikes should. Just seems like the proper thing it should have. IDK, just something to check out my man!

Get you some of the aluminum rods from harbor freight and mod gas and braze that’s hole shit bud. Shit works great works on all non ferrous metals. Just use it correctly.
If u quickly want to do the clutch just lay bike on side and u can leave oil in.guess that's a bit of race track mechanics but ya saves Makan a mess for me.

I use that same will my bike while back and it made the clutch slip and mine's a 97 KX125 so it might make yours, too just so you know
You need an aluminum welder to fix this stuff. You are one lucky sob that's for sure wow amazing bike

That noise is probably the clutch scraping against the case
The clutch case is probably warped if the guy ever dropped the bike on the brake pedal it might've dented that part and it's more in than the rest of the case that's why it's scraping when you pull the clutch

i got a clapped kx125 1988 lol (in a trade) 400€ i got the bike lets say
engine 'has been rebuilt' by the owner befor. mine just rode it twice got scared, i traded it against a PC i build and had for sale for 550€ only got offers for 500€ and i paid 400€ for the pc a while back.
so yeah it run and starts great the kx just has a fuel tank from a 250 bike and seems like the pipe is a bit rough, exhaust might be leaking also there is oil EVERY WHERE on the pipe and exhaust.
needs new chain for sure. doesnt have the front brake caliper... tough to find doh... for a the 88...
gonna give it a good clean, and see from there... my friend already wants to buy it from me... i didnt even had time to ride it really lol
ow also did get 3 tyres with it. my first real dirt bike MOTO CROSS as we call it. i got 2 smal dirt bikes a 12/10" and a 14/12" one both 125cc small ones prety fun. but this kx125 HOLY SHIT its tall

great find but something sounds horrible, might be dried out bearings from being empty of oil possibly little end maybe? it’s way noisier than exhaust note
The KX and KDX are all noisy! The kips valve on these bikes rattle like crazy and I've never seen a quite one!

Yep that's the kips valve and they drive me nuts as it just doesn't sound right.
