Thanks for coming lads well done Sean, i tried to keep the dust at bay but it's so hard with the type of ground we have there as you know it's an skool hard pac track was bloody hot day
Looked like you did a great job all things considered. That ground really isn't the easiest to keep prepped. A good mate of mine raced there on a CR500 years back and once the bowser ran out you couldn't see the guy infront for dust. Even the spectators were backing off coughing. I don't think you did too bad at all.

The boy did well, in fact, bloody amazing. What a brilliant meeting. Sean is the perfect rider to showcase 999lazers awesome creations. Cheers Max, nailed it again.
Shout out to old mate that won the third race. He did everything right from start to finish. Put the pressure on Sean straight up and all the way over the line. Was a top job. Definitely want to see more of the season.
Thanks, Max! Another fantastic episode of racing, and congratulations to Sean for some brilliant racing! Kong sounds and performs beautifully - wow! Awesome bike!
It’s the same in karting when you get people who don’t understand their surroundings and get pissed when they hit into you, glad Sean came out of it okay
Sean is a soldier! Injured and sendin Kong like that...much respect to Sean! This is just killer stuff you keep bringing us Max. I haven't been able to ride yet this year because of knee problems and finally knee surgery a couple days ago. Thanks Max and Sean for taking me for that knarly ride!
Fantastic video Max, what an absolute beast Kong is, well done to Sean one hell of a ride ,you never fail to bring us the best quality on fabulous unique machines, thank you Max.
Great job Sean....I absolutely love watching you race. Your a beast. Also Max you always do an excellent job announcing. This was awesome to see. Go Kong.
Sean hell of a job racing a 500 injured and your are most comfortable on a 250f but you still can ride KONG to its first overall mx win good job and I hope you all keep racing it like this it is so sweet to listen to and watch
Sean was killin it! Max, can you edit in Sean beating his chest like King Kong does after a kill? Or when he’s fired up. 😂😂That would make for some good theater. Great video! Keep em coming. And thanks to Putoline for stepping up for us 2 stroke nuts. 2 strokes will eventually take the dirt back.
I know its not fast but some of those slides toward the end are just cool. They reminded me of the old days where the 500's would get real sideways then just when you think you've collected it up they come into the power and go again. Its that bit where you realise the bike is just that bit more interested in lowering your lifespan than a 250 or a 4t which makes me love them. Brilliant experiences.
@@999lazer Thanks for doing the vids mate. You've been kicking some brilliant stuff out for quite a while now. I can't ride MX these days because of back problems but these vids have kept that fire lit and make me happy. I've always loved 2t's - the bigger the better and you seem like a man after my own heart. Kong is great. That thing is exactly what I would be building if I was still able today. Well that or the Yzilla - its a tough call. I would love to see you get your hands on a big Maico or something as a comparisson. Or even better drop a sidecar 700+cc into an AF and see where that takes you. Thinking about it that knackered old piglet would be funny to see with a massive motor...
Great job Team Kong ! Your coverage of these events may not be appreciated by some,,, or one,,, but every bit of aired track time is a joy to watch and listen to! And is appreciated by many on here
Ahh the good old days. Love two strokes. I use to run a KX250 and 500 two stroke back in the late 80’5 and early 90’s. I don’t think my Kees would handle it any more but thanks for the show. It was awesome.
When racing, I usually start in 2nd. A perfectly executed 3rd gear start is awe inspiring when everything goes perfectly- or else you arent getting out in front immediately. You have to be intimately familiar with the bike to pull them off with any kind of consistancy.
Great job Sean and 999 !!!! Putting the power down on the mighty Kong !!!!! Excellent riding and race footage 👍Mishap was the other riders fault - people get upset like that when they caused the issue and know it - So impressed by Kong/Sean tag team out there - love the track too - looks hard and fast - keep the great video's coming Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap
Woohoo yea baby Sean’s the man!👏👏👍 Beautifully ridden motos, smooth relaxed & agressive, love watching Sean race, he inspires us old guys to go let it rip👊
This track should've been widened up considerably, along with more obstacles. I used to have a piece of land similar to this, and before every riding day, I would run the till over the track. It was the disc-style that was tilted inward with roughly twenty to thirty separate discs and it would churn up around 8 - 10 inches of top soil and it was an absolute dream to be one of the first bikes out there just holding it wide open while leaving a huge roost of fresh soil. That feeling of sinking down into the soil with the throttle pinned was just awesome. Eventually, it would naturally build up nice sized berms and develop beautiful lines. In case you can't tell, I really miss riding.
I've broken a bunch of ribs...it's the worst break I've ever had to live with. It hurts to breath, laugh, cough, stand up, sit down and to add insult to injury you can only sleep on one side. A pulmonary specialist reminded me that it's important to breathe deeply regardless if it hurts because secondary lung infections are common to those who break a rib.
Great race! The track was a wide open track yet everyone was scared to ride due to the slick ground. I would like to see them race again but rent a tractor with a disk on the back and really turn that track over well and make it 6’ wider. I would say add water but that’s usually not possible but maybe rent a water truck and have them spray it down. The 500’s have to have soft loam which works best for them. The dry ground is like riding on ice. I do like the amount of jumps but maybe a few more small ones. This track was set for the bikes to run wide open and they can do that even at a novice level with the dirt prepped correctly. Great video
great footage mate it,s always tough when lapping people as you never know which way they are going to go. i would love to see nev riding kong in one of the expert classes.

Congrats on a some great races and for toughing it out injured. The CRF 450 is such a worthy opponent with tons of power down low. Lot of CRF riders say they don't change gears much. They can do it all in third. The modern 450s have launch and traction control as well. They just have a lot of tech that still hasn't been put into the 2 strokes. I say this time and time again... I hope rules are modified to give 2 strokes a fair chance. It finally seems like a fair fight putting Kong against the 450s instead of a 250 2 stroke. Even changing AMA rules to increase the 2 stroke displacement to 350 or 375 would help get people back to racing on 2 strokes. A 450 vs a 250 is just not a fair fight. 2 strokes just shouldn't be leisure bikes. They should be race machines as well and go head to head with the 450s. Love the 999Lazer content. Super job: Nice bit of rubbin and fair play Sean ! funny elite class though, a lot of very novice looking fellas out there - god i hate getting old, nearly in the 50s class mesen , ouch 😲
It was so funny how he was mad but also gave Sean a compliment at the same time 😂 "I've seen you ride, you could have just gone around him on the outside like it was nothing" hahaha
50+ and he literally took the line away! If your racing 20 year olds, go for it. But again you do that for the lead, not back markers. Obviously caused a red flag. Hope the guy was ok
Still really makes me happy to watch a motocross race and happier still seeing a 2 stroke win! The lap rider always has the right away, bad sportsmanship on the part of the slower racer.
What a beast! Both of them! Bike and rider. About the passing the guy. Didn't see there any problem. It was his fault. He is going from left to right and back. He should stay in right line and will be fine.

Guy on the Honda probably had a close to stock bike compared to the Kong that had the best components and cost at least twice as much . My buddy had the same problem racing Quads . His was pretty much stock and the other guy had on over $32,000.00 USD . Good rider on a way better bike . Yeah they will win . Put them both on completely stock bikes with the stock suspension set up for each rider and see what happens and who will win . I'd love to see that comparison . 😂 Kong is a dream come true , I have to admit that . Race it against the other Monster of a bike ; The 700cc version of Kong . Love your videos and comments . 😊
Difference between riders who "have a lot on the line here" and riders who just come to enjoy riding and the track without giving a single f about which place they get.
I got a rope burn coz i was wearing an open face helmet with a the old Scott goggles facemaskin 86 at the bottom of the hills at Long Buckby sort of near where the steps are, taught me to wear a chinguard for the rest of my racing. Youre right those hills were massive at 10 years old on a lowered to the hilt Kx80. I must av grabbed a handful of throttle as i slid along that rope lol

It's amazing to see a modern Two stroke just destroy the current models , all us knew it that grew up on Two Stroke bikes, the power is insane , even a 1985 KX 80 will throw most 250 four-stroke riders off first twist of the throttle , you just don't expect the jump into power band , HP doubles in 250 revs , the 500 two strokes never even needed power band , but if you were game , that 60 + HP at 9500 rpm was a thing the feel , yes 450 f are fast , and good , but legendary , no , please bring back 500 two strokes Kawasaki ! We know your thinking about a direct injection bike , we have all seen the prototype , 2026 KX 550 two stroke , it will kill everything !
I have nothing but respect for Sean to be still riding like that at his age and injured, but I would love to see this bike in the hands of someone like Jeff Herlings or Eli Tomac... Get Carson Brown on the line and offer it to him for next years 2 stroke champs at Glen Helen or fly him out for a day of testing..
I live out west in the US. Is this a typical example of an English motocross track? Seems about 5-10ft narrower, no built berms, more flat-track style corners and much fewer jumps and seemingly only single and tabletops. It’s cool to see, and I love the grass start and the more natural layout, incorporating the existing terrain as the biggest features of the track. Can any Brit’s chime in and tell me if this is a typical track?
@18:50 ...... Move down 3-5 gates - left & shift into THIRD, 3/4 THROTTLE & BAM all the way to the top of the hill. When DAY makes his 2/3 upshift & you are already in third - zippity doo-daa, zippity YAA, it's a holeshot in the last race of the day!
Yeah. 450....250 4str is been even slighty faster than 450. At least here In nordic Europes long enduro races an tracks. That little weight differences on rpm/hp/torque between those. But.... 500 2strokes are allways been a real beasts. " How Many hp?" " dunno. Dont need More, this is too much allready" 🤣
Fair play Sean to be over 50 and riding a 500 2 stroke like that requires some skill and fitness. Hats off to ya
particularly as he is a vertical challenged too :) lol... thanks for watching
Along with riding in the “A” races too that day…that takes some doing 👏👏
@999lazer insane for someone of his age. Just got myself a bike after not riding for 13 years. Forgot how much it takes it out of ya.

Great content! 😀👍
Thanks for taking the time to watch :-)
Great video.. DIDN'T KNOW IT BEAT YZILLA...
Great vide again 👍
Thanks for watching buddy :-)
Looks like a fun track!
bud did a great job prepping the track :)
I have nothing but respect for Sean to be still riding like that at his age and injured, but I would love to see this bike in the hands of someone like Jeff Herlings or Eli Tomac... Get Carson Brown on the line and offer it to him for next years 2 stroke champs at Glen Helen or fly him out for a day of testing..
that would be epic, we need to get someone to fly him out to the UK :)
There were a few brc 500cc two strokes at the two stroke world championships this year. You should check out some of the footage, it was a great race.
Great first race for kong
We couldn't have hoped for much more really :-D Thanks for watching Tony
Hi Max sean another magic video 📸 😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉yeahh baby lets fo scrambling 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Chris
Well done Sean, You have more skill, these new 450 have launch and traction control for holes hots.
lol! Glad you told the pit warrior what was what!! Great effort boys
Lol never a dull day at the track! Thanks for watching Stu :-D
Great vid , what a ride ….
Thanks for watching James, Sean done us proud! :-D
Finally a proper big bore 2 stroke with modern technology, the 450 isn’t king anymore boys ….
450 was never king
@@truthsetsyoufree77 It certainly was for awhile. Not because of the engine itself but rather because the frame enhancements etc.
Hey Max, fancy making Kong a 'dual sport', supermoto kit??
The bike is actually road registered so we have considered doing that at some point.
@@999lazer that's awesome I think you should do it, maybe let a suitable racer loose on it too!
Great video
Thanks as always David :-D
