    Love the “sharps box”. Woman after my own heart. 😂😂❤ Absolutely amazed at what you fit into a very small space.

    For your teeny sewing machine box you could store a sewing machine needle that isn’t dull but is used. I do that if I switch from universal to stretch and back. Thanks for sharing your space. You are so organized!

      That is such a great idea, thank you! I wasn't always so organized, but it definitely helps to have a place for everything. Thanks for watching, fellow Teresa (mine has an h)! 😉

    Thanks for your tour ,your little sewing machine box is a needle holder

      Thanks, Joanna! I've been using it for my machine needles, when I swap out universal needles for ballpoint, etc. It seems perfect!

    More about the donuts!

      Not too much to say about them, except that I love them. They're made from polymer clay, and I just played around untill I was happy with the shape and followed the instructions on the package. A fun afternoon activity!

    I have a tiny container on my desk, I use it for putting the screws from my needle plate in when I'm cleaning my machine so that I don't lose them. It also holds a needle for threading serger ends, & the machine needle & foot if I am swapping them for another

      That is super clever-I love that idea, Claire! Those are exactly the kind of things that I "carefully" place to one side and then can never find when I need them! (They're usually on the floor! 😆) It's so satisfying having a system for that kind of thing. I need to implement this!!

      I love me a sewing gadget! 😁 And yes, I'm really excited to see the quilt come together. It was a request from Annette to make a more grown up rainbow blanket for Bea. I hope she likes it!

    I love that you used a toolbox for storage. I never thought of that and I have one like it in the garage!

    • @LostMyThread
      @LostMyThread  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I was looking at jewellery storage and craft storage online, but none of them seemed right. And then it hit me-a toolbox! I love it and wouldn't go back now!

      I don’t have it now, but, it was my first “professional” machine I bought from a dealer. It is a great machine! ❤️

    I love looking at how other people organise their sewing stuff! I definitely need to get some storage like yours for my prym pliers. (if you wanted to make a vario pliers tutorial about how to use them, how to acquire new attachments for them etc. then I think it might do well as I struggled to find one a while back!)

    • @LostMyThread
      @LostMyThread  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I agree! We can learn a lot from how others get organised. I'm a bit of a nerd for that stuff. I will definitely make a video about the plyers, thanks for the tip!

    You could put a flat magnet in your tiny machine and store hand sewing needles to have on hand by your machine...

      Oh my goodness, that is pure genius!! I think that's gotta be it. Thank you, Liliana!

    Is that a gateleg table?

    • @LostMyThread
      @LostMyThread  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is! It's space saving and really easy to set up. To be fair, it came with the flat that I live in, but it's perfect for my sewing space!
