Beautiful space. For the cotton poplin, if they do have a little stretch, SOI Ultimate trousers or similar. The green floral you showed would look awesome paired with the jumper you're wearing ❤❤❤

Idea for the cotton poplins: perhaps a vest (possibly quilted) or a waistcoat? The Gilbert V-neck buttoned waistcoat by PatternCos would be fun in a poplin with floral pattern! For a quilted vest, Purlsoho has a free pattern which could also be a great option.

Having the two desks to separate my work from sewing has really helped me!

Nice reorganization! The room is great space to create. I too printed out fashion magazine prints for my sewing room wall decor. I used cheap dollar store frames though. Yours look so much better.
I know this video is old but you might put your scrap basket on top of the drawer unit next to your desk. It’s pretty and decorative enough to work well there. Could also hang your rulers from S-shaped IKEA pan hooks (for pot racks) on the side rails of that same storage unit. If you hung the rulers on the desk side, they’d be unseen and inconspicuous.
I watched your Everything 2024 video and scrolled back looking for an introduction video but couldn’t find anything. I was especially curious to hear how long you’d been sewing and who taught you. I was able to glean from your other content that you are doing a lot firsts (coat/bias skirt). You do beautiful work. Which is especially commendable if you’re a newbie.

Thank you! I actually got my frames from the thrift store - if you check often, I find there is often nice frames! Thanks for the suggestions - I am always trying to improve my sewing space. You are right that I don't really have an intro video on my channel - maybe I need to make one soon 😊 I have been sewing now for about 4-5 years, and I am mostly self-taught (luckily there are such talented individuals online to learn from!). Even though I have been sewing for several years, I find I am a slow sewer compared to many others...I don't make as many projects in a month as others. So I think because of that, lots of different projects are still "firsts" for me. Thanks for watching 😊

Idea for boiled wool (if you don’t end up using it) is you could donate to an Indigenous program (like an art program, school or a friendship centre) because we use it to make Vamps on top of moccasins & mukluks!

What a great place to sew! I love how much natural light you get ☀️ And your new filming area is perfect ✨
For the cotton poplins: another jumpsuit? Or a more fitted style skirt, like a midi length pencil skirt? I could see the yellow one as something like that eg. Pattern Scout has a video on making a skirt with buttons up the front. Maybe shorts/culottes for the green?
    Enjoy your new room ☺️

Alex Judge just made a video about the Ose Delano dress pattern that might be good for your cotton fabric with body.
