@@christelchristely2816 The great organ did survive the fire- it's just a bit dusty, only 1 of the 7,866 pipes was damaged by water, they're beginning the restoration of the organ ready for its reopening hopefully in 2024. However, the smaller choir organ by Merklin/Boisseau was flooded and will need to be rebuilt.

Also, it does help to have a good piano background which most professionals do have, but if you want to start playing without it, it’s still entirely possible. Some professionals even wait until much later on when they’ve been a pianist for many years- for example Messiaen started when he was already studying at the Conservatoire de Paris, and he made extremely fast progress.
I'm back once again. Absolutely love this. One thing I notice at the end, xaver shrugs his shoulders as if to say "that's the best I could do" that in my opinion is the look of a truly humble artist! You sir are a legend!!

Well this organ has a really good intonation! one of the best i have heard for a church organ. It has resonance,tone,fullness. Good job of the voicers of the reager organ company

Organ players start out really young, I've heard as young as 5 in some cases
