- As Promised! i gone and done it. stuck the hero s10 motors on the mantis. and hoo wee. its a different beast lol. test run with a booster pack next?? lol apologies for the render quality!! it must have reverted to stock 1080p and low bitrate instead of 2.7k and high bitrate :(

@@highwaltage Jealous at your genius. The Kaboo has always had faults and other flauses... It is however one of the very first and best performance dual motor Scooters and was sold out so like the Xiaomi through popularity there's gona be more reports of faults that's from what I've read and seen on reviews and now you've solved it with a better design! Haha

Great vid, fella. That's one of the great things that actually made me buy, and mod, an Inokim Oxo - the weight. VERY heavy to carry but at top speed it's planted/hardly any steering shake. Mantis is pretty awesome though. 😉👍
cant do much to innokims stock controllers tho... did you go with BAC mod?
@@highwaltage Yeah fella. Went crazy with the mods. Ripped the Scooter back to a frame and put new Green Goblin controllers and 72v battery etc in her. The weight really does help as it launches like a rocket now but mega stable, even well over 65mph+, thank god. Run it since April this year and never had a problem. I still like to see what else is on the market though. Doesn't harm/cost to look, lol. Brilliant video though man. Loved it. Thanks for uploading/sharing. 😎🤜🤛😊

Dang you did it then lol... I must say .. I was surprised just how polite it was on the acceleration against the original mantis with the booster pack. 6.5v sag is crazy ridiculous lmao.. I think you may want to consider a steering damper now at those speeds. especially given how light the lil mantis is. Given the original mantis pro with its twin 1000w motors has a top speed (75kg rider flat ground, tail wind, lab conditions) of 64km/h .. 80km you have there.. is what .. 25% boost on a sleeper!! Not sure how much more that frame can take in stress and load before something gives!
really want some forks for it. steering dampner for sure at high speeds. the responsiveness of the c section front is sweet for slow stuff. but high speed. gotta hold it more than a kings geometry. get arm pump lol. boosty pack on the hero mantis? lol just went for a night ride and from hating the platform for wheelies and general chucking round.... to know i think this might be a random scoot out of the blue fav lol. wolf is heavy. kinda need to plan a ride etc. the mantis is still in that portable category. cant wait for the hero x10 tho!

Hey Walt. Have a mate who can do work on on mantis. He mods scooters and drones. Wants to know exactly what you did to mantis. Were the controllers altered? I know you stuck the hero s 10s on here and in a previous video did the 75v booster. In this vid with the motors was anything else modified. Trying to get best result without fucking the controllers. Would be most appreciated your help. Thanks.
How can you reach 80kms when the specs says maximum is 70? I'll getting mine soon, so I am interested. Awesome ride btw 👍

@@highwaltage was it the motors that gave it the extra speed? Have the mantis pro wolf king and ordered the king gt. Still love the mantis but just needs a bit more speed from stock. Is a fun package on the twisty paths.
Friend also got the wolf x. That's real fun to ride as well.
Do you have torque on single motor mode? (rear motor) My rear motor has very low torque but it goes up to 45kmh i don't know if it supposed to be like that
