I wonder why Koei made Zhang She look so effeminate and using butterflies and finding Xiahou Yuan attractive while in this series, Zhang He has a manly beard and looks like one of Wei's top 5 generals not a nightmare from a Yaoi or other disgusting anime.
This game looks so horribly unbalanced. 1 Tactic kills have the troops? DOAE1 looks soooooooooooo much better in comparison to this garbage looking game.

Wow, "damn you to hell" might be the strongest language I've ever seen on the NES.
Destiny of an Emperor 2 isn't a direct sequel, it's a remake that's more faithful to the novel.
This would have blown me away when i was a kid.
Sima Yi is the same from DoE in the first series. From his looks he is the final warlord in the first DoE.

Character differentiation.
Initially this music doesn't sound very good and very rom-ish. However, it's really growing on me and like most NES music, pretty much rules.

Actually the tactics were broken since the start. If there is a remake, they should heavily nerf it.
