The robots on display here are something we saw in the US and Japan 10 years ago. And yes you can see some robots in Tier 1 cities in China but 95% of the population lives in Tier 2 or 3 cities and can barely afford food. 80% of the population is below the EU or US poverty line when the same standards are applied. Don’t believe the crazy nationalist hype. China is in for a very rough time the next 10-20 years at least. This is why you don't understand the concept of self autonomous robot, you're not suppose to maintain it, they are suppose to help you when you get older. The AI will be able to drive themselves to the Maintenance to get updated, the issue will be the cost that will come from it. You won't have to lay a finger, just make sure you pay the bill for the maintenance and the software updates and firmware, that's all.
