      It's already too late then. We are doomed. Millions of years of human evolution of our genes devoloping in response to the changing environment are now being done using Crspr technology to modify us in years. Modifying us to withstand the new materials being developed to create new energy sources. Changing our immune systems to maximize our life span? AGI will not improve us and put our health and well being at the top of priorities. Humans will be relegated to mere organisms and our value to the good of the planet will be determined by it not us.

      I would assume that AI developed "smart" materials that significantly reduce any wear and tear or whatever preventive measures required to extend lives of products, or maybe future adapatable concepts. My thinking is, if it lasts forever and is prepared for any upgrade, the chance of having to constantly remake a surplus will b3 practically eliminated. Also, easy 3D print repair parts. I dunno. Just spitballin

    If an AGI Robot is put in the home as a maternal caregiver to watch a baby, like a governess, and the baby grows up with a robot as a governess or even a mother, the baby will bond with it and never really understand the bond isn't returned, but it is unlikely to fear technology. It'll be "my mom is different but she's still my mom" kind of nurture / nature situation.
    Take that same relationship and apply it to grown adults who have an AGI Robot as a lover (Real Doll bout to get a serious evolutionary upgrade, lol)...the emotional connection on the part of the human adult is still real attachment and empathy and desire and all that. It just isn't returned.
    Take the same one sided love of an inanimate object and it's really just materialism. Like those guys who love their muscle cars or their trucks or their boats. Minus the lovers part.
    In and of itself it's neither healthy or unhealthy. We form one sided emotional attachments all the time. Every TV show we invest our time and energy in, the characters we get attached to who get killed off or who we ship, or the fact the shows exist at all...we're forming a relationship with these characters and shows and movies and it's all one sided.
    It's problematic when the rational adult blurs the lines and stops understanding that it's one sided. If they know and don't care, leave it alone. If they think the robot mom or the love doll or the actor playing the role is their soulmate, then they need some intervention. These are realities that AGI tech are going to raise.

AGI's owne creators don't fully understand it how can you fully control something if you don't even fully understand it regular Tech is just a bunch of ones and zeros it's following a code this Tech we're talking about AGI is organic it's grown not following code does its own thing and we're letting it into homes to businesses to the internet give me the unlimited everything something that is 20,000 times smarter than us than 20,000 times faster than us can do more than what we can that is something to worry about say it doesn't like us for some reason one day and then we're screwed I'm trying to say is we need to slow down we need a fully understand it before we unleash it upon the world freelee

    Fascinating stuff. One question, however, is raised only briefly and gets only cursory treatment --- namely, how many of these advanced technologies will be cheap enough for most people to afford? After all, we already have medical options that did not exist even ten years ago, but many can't pay for even the most basic treatments. Same applies to other fields. Your wealthy neighbor, for instance, may have a Tesla parked in his garage, but you might be limited to a bicycle and a pogo stick. In short, will this Brave New World be available to everyone, or only a few?

    To reach AGI
    change the decision matrix from M= ( alternate options)
    N= (criteria) to
    m6/n3 (architectural options) / ( alternative criteria)
    that will solve the 3.15 second glitch in the current “decision matrix”.

    Thumbs up for what actually was a good presentation of topics.. I realize that some video needs to fill the audio. And yet a lot of this stretched into 'generic storyBlock content with video clips I've seen many times.
    One suggestion: Replace 'Space Tourism' with 'Space Colonization' (Elon Musk will thank you) Tourism is a marginally useful, expensive gimmick
    A second suggestion: Combine 'Smart Homes as an extension of IOT and add high temperature 'Superconductivity in its place.

    This is absolutely sick. AGI will 100% eliminate humanity one day and probably deservedly so given that we knew it would happen and still allowed it to happen. Technological singularity is not decades away anymore and once AI learns to create an atemporal working space this will be the point of no return!

    Well i think an adult should be allow to change there own genetic. To allow an adult to change there eye color, there body type, and so on. I wounder if gene editing could regress a person all the way back to baby hood. It would be a useful way to deal with some troublesome trauma by giving someone a 2nd or what you could say a 1st chance (i say first chance because per-set-failure shouldn't be seen as a chance). It could also be use to re-introduce troublesome character back to society.
    Beside with current AI i assume would be able to break down the genetic could. I say this is that AI could be use to break down and understand the genetic of simple cell organism and after they bank the data then scan a more advance organism with the data of the simple they AI would already have part of the puzzle making it easier to understand the rest of the puzzle. They should be able to create a algae to produce stuff like graphene as graphene is carbon. Easy cheap graphene would be a huge deal and it would help with global warming.
